is it possible to use different hud settings/tournament filters for mtt and for sngs?
for example i want to filter mtt stats by different stack sizes than sngs?

I am sorry but this is not possible. The HUD Filters and Tournament Filters are universal settings that can not be applied to different HUD configs or game types.

The last few days when i play on stars and have hem2 on and also tableoptimizer, i notice that few times hem2 frozed and then my hud in many of the tables never showed up. Few other tables where the hud worked... did work but any new table that opens no hud shows up at all.


So i had to restart my laptop while playing then startup stars... then hem2.


Is there any issue recently with hem2 which is why i'm having these issues?

Does it happen if Table Optimizer is not running?

My HM isn't reading my converted Bovada hands correctly (surely the converters fault). Is there any way to fix this?



My total SNGs played is actually 288 but is read incorrectly. All 15 of these are losses. Is there any way to get rid of these 15 but make the numbers correct? I've tried editing but it doesn't work.

Using the Tournament Editor is the only thing I can suggest as I don't think Bovada writes tournament summaries so I assume the converter doesn't produce a Stars Tournament Summary counterpart like an actual Stars tournament would.

We only provide support for sites we support. If you have any problems with HM2 using third party tools, to use our software with unsupported sites, all support will need to be handled by them as we do not provide technical support for problems with our software on unsupported sites.

when i press the hud stats to get a popup that i defined i get another popup.
some clicking it is working and in others its not.

If you're seeing this issue in most cases its a graphics card issue

1 - Make sure windows is fully updated until 'No New Important Updates are Found' (this may require multiple restarts and multiple 'check for updates'), including Internet Explorer (even if you use a different web browser).
2 - Update your graphics drivers - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...hicsCardDriver
3 - Enable desktop composition - http://windows7support247.blogspot.c...mposition.html

The following solutions have also proved to be helpful in resolving this although these are usually isolated issues
1 - Set desktop to an aero theme:

2 - Update Logitech Setpoint - http://www.logitech.com/en-us/584/3131

If none of that helps:

1) Export any custom HUD configs.
2) Open the HM2 > HUD Settings > HUD Designer menu > Click 'Reset' > [x] All Configs > OK
3) Manually reset your Site Setup > Seating Preferences > for your site/seats and any other HUD Settings you had personalized.

Try to reproduce the problem using the default HUD/settings. If it works properly you can try importing your customized HUD again. If the problem returns after importing the custom HUD then you know that config is corrupted and you will need to delete it and rebuild it from scratch or import an older backup of that HUD config that was created before the corruption.

Here are the top 2 features I would love to see implemented in "HM3":

1-Faster load time.

2-Analysing my reports depending on my opponents' VPIP, PFR, 3bet and a very few more.
That would be huge. For example: I have a marginal hand on the button; I want to know
how the hand performed in the past against all kind of players. Presently, HM2 only
displays results against the field.

How do I perform against players having a fold to 3 bet between x and y %?

Knowing how I do against the field is good, but knowing how I do against specific group
of players would be more precise.

The reports show me that I make money in a specific spot against the field but I may
leak some money against some players in the same spot.

I really hope that you will consider my idea.

Hi I am working on a hud, I've seen hud's where there are panels that use have grid with stats. Like the coffee hud for example.

I can see how it can be done with multiple panels with new lines after every stat, which makes up a full column.

Is there a way to "fuse" together such columns? I guess its just a minor inconvenience to pull everything together once then lock the hud but it would be nice to not having to do that

I am not sure I understand what you are trying to do but I have no experience with the Coffee HUD. You can set a single panel HUD to a grid style formation using the HUD Settings > General Settings > Separator = 't' option but there will be some limitations that you might not have if they were all in separate panels. If you need more specific advice start a thread in our forums with pics of what you have, what you are trying to accomplish and export/attach the hud.xml file.

I am not sure if these have been suggested yet (probably, considering the large number of open stat requests) we are only adding the most popular of the requests as time permits.

Make sure the HUD Settings > General Settings > Common Settings > [ ] 'Use session stats' is disabled. Also check the Table HUD Options to be sure it is set to All Hands and not Session Stats - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...2831/Table+HUD

Make sure that the HUD Settings > General Settings > Common Settings > Min hands: is set to '0'.

Make sure that the HUD Settings > Stat Appearance > Min samples: is set to '0' for each and every stat in your HUD if your issue is missing stats.

Make sure that your HUD Settings > HUD Filters are all set to '2 to 10' and that both check box options under Filter by limits are checked [x].

Make sure the HUD Settings > Tournament Filters are all set to '1 to 81+'. Changing these filters to anything other than their default settings will make the HUD Stats change drastically based on the number of players at the table and/or their stack sizes in tournaments.

All my HUD stats for a particular reg have disappeared. The regs name is xxx.xx and I presume it is the period in his name that is causing the problem (similar to the problem we had a couple of weeks ago with spaces in names. Has this been happening to others and is there a fix? a lot more players have spaces in their names as oppposed to periods so it might not have been widely noticed yet.

For the record there was a Stars update yesterday but I have no updated yet.

You need the latest HM2 beta release to address this issue with certain player names.

Please update to the latest beta version - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloa...ger_2_Beta.exe

After downloading, right-click the file, go to properties and click unblock. Then, right click the file and run as administrator to complete the reinstall.

If you continue to have problems:

Got a very weird and minor issue, I'm keeping track of how many hands I play this month in a spreadsheet. After each day I'll get a number, write it down and then the next day it turns out that number is wrong by 1 or 2 hands but I can't seem to find an explanation for this.

For example, yesterday I wrote down that my total for the month was 37603 (well after the final hand played so it had registered them all) and I played 2500 exactly today so it should be 40103 but it's 40101. I go back and check for 1st-14th and it now says 37601 but it definitely said 37603 yesterday. This has happened every night for about a week now and it's always decreasing by 1 or 2 hands, not increasing.

It's not a big issue obviously and it's only because I've noticed this every single night that I'm bothering to mention it as it's really weird.

It is impossible to even guess what the cause could be without at least knowing the site/games you play, and even then we are just guessing. If you are playing Zoom, or any of the fast-fold variants at other sites, make sure you leave the table open for 5 minutes after sitting out before closing the table to give the client time to write any/all fast-folded hands to your computer.
