Please try a clean install of HM2. This will preserve your database and backup your HUD and settings.

Step 1 – Restore Default Settings:
First try restoring your default settings, often some settings files can become corrupt and cause these issues:

Step 2 – Uninstall and reinstall HM2 with Revo uninstaller:
Other times critical system files may not have been installed on previous updates and it can also cause these types of errors or in some cases antiviruses may have removed files that it mistook for unsafe. Doing a revo uninstall also removes old registry file information which might have become corrupt. You can download the free version here: http://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_..._download.html and there is a useful tutorial how to use it here:

Uninstall Holdem Manager 2 via Revo unistaller and then reinstall this version:

Please add this file to your firewall and antivirus exceptions and run it as Administrator.

If it had a BSOD while playing your database could be damaged beyond repair:

If you continue to have problems, try the following:

Try creating a new DataBase and import a small portion of your \HM2Archive so you can see if the problem exists in the new DB - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...y+played+hands

If the new database seems to work properly, it sounds like your database might be corrupt. This is why regular backups are a good idea. If your database becomes corrupt you can restore a backup and only have to import the most recent hands (that were played after the backup was created) and edit any tournament results if necessary.

HUD wasn't wirking on OS yesterday so I uninstalled both then re-installed them and it worked fine
Logged back in today same issue not loading again?

I assume that is a typo and you meant to write PS?

Try creating a new folder on your computer such as C:\StarsHands and C:\StarsTourneys then configure PokerStars to save the hands/results here in their Options > Instant Hand History menu and setup HM2 to Auto Import from here in the Site Setup menu.

Before on HM you could see which folders were being auto updated. Why can't you see this now. Under hand importing it says auto import but doesn't say what it's importing

I can run 24 tables of poker stars without lag and I can run about 16 tables of poker stars with hm2 hud but when I start to run 24 table poker stars with hm2 hid it lags like crazy and then crashes. Is this cause my cpu is too slow (cpu built in 08')??

I'm really sorry and I know there is nothing more frustrating than having issues like this when trying to play. I hope i can help you resolve this quickly.

What is your hard drive model, RAM and CPU? You can find this in your Control Panel - System - Device Manager. Sometimes lower spec PC's can contribute to lagging but that is not to say we can't still improve it further.

Are you running Notecaddy also and do you have many definitions or use any of the NC Edge or NC Advantage packages? Those can also have an impact on large database with large definitions. If you do I would suggest reading this thread which will help improve the performance when using NC:

In the meantime while you reply with those details I have a couple of things you can try that will improve the performance of your PC in general and may help if this scanning is the cause of the issues your seeing.

A few other things you could try to see if it helps when playing:
- Does it help you disable the Options > Settings > General Settings > Miscellaneous > [ ] 'Automatically Refresh' option and restart HM2?
- Try leaving HM2 on the 'Home' tab when playing.
- Try picking a villain in the reports that only has a few hands in your database instead of your hero and restart HM2.
- Try creating a new smaller database with just hands from the past 1 or 2 months to use when playing.

If you continue to have problems, please reproduce the problem, describe exactly what you were doing, and attach your log.txt file -

Hiya,

The replayer's HUD is not working correctly in many ways, for eg:

1. Only displaying the HUD from one or two players. As soon as the "table" loads, all HUDs are displayed for about one second. Then all but 1 or 2 disappear.

2. When you move the table the HUD doesn't move with it, but stays in place.

3. I can't open the pop ups. Nothing happens when I click on the stats.

These results will be skewed since you can only know his hole cards for hands that went to showdown.

First you have to select the player/alias you want to filter for in the Hero menu instead of your screen-name/alias so you can filter from his/their perspective. If you want to create an alias with a lot of villains you can do it via PGAdmin or RangeMeister as explained here - http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/18...y-hem-1212650/ - but please be aware that it can be very resource intensive to link all villains to an alias so you should have a powerful computer with lots of ram if attempting this.

I believe these will do what you want. If not, please start a new thread on our forums and I can have our QA/Testing Manager take a look at your filter questions when he is online.

1) More Filters > Other Advanced Filters:
- Preflop > Allin Preflop = True
- Other > Hero Stack in bbs is... > 'Greater than X' or 'Between X and Y'

2) More Filters:
- Basic Filters > Position and Action > Hero's Position [x] Big Blind
- Preflop > Allin Preflop = True
- Other > Effective Stack in bbs is... > 'Greater than X' or 'Between X and Y'

Please make sure the replayer options (click in the bottom left corner) - [ ] show stats up to date of hand is unchecked. If it is checked and you have to uncheck it you need to restart HM2 for the changes to take effect.

1 - Make sure windows is fully updated until 'No New Important Updates are Found' (this may require multiple restarts and multiple 'check for updates'), including Internet Explorer (even if you use a different web browser).

The following solutions have also proved to be helpful in resolving this although these are usually isolated issues
1 - Set desktop to an aero theme:

If you continue to have problems:

1) Export any custom HUD configs.
2) Open the HM2 > HUD Settings > HUD Designer menu > Click 'Reset' > [x] All Configs > OK
3) Manually reset your Site Setup > Seating Preferences > for your site/seats and any other HUD Settings you had personalized.

Try to reproduce the problem using the default HUD/settings. If it works properly you can try importing your customized HUD again. If the problem returns after importing the custom HUD then you know that config is corrupted and you will need to delete it and rebuild it from scratch or import an older backup of that HUD config that was created before the corruption.

Please enable the Settings > Feature Logging > [x] 'HUDStats' option and increase the Max number of log files option to 10 so old logs are saved with date/time stamps. You can also enable this before you launch HM2 from the Start Menu - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...ging#startmenu

Please reproduce the problem and:
- Attach a screen shot of the table/desktop
- Save a copy of the original Hand history for the table with the issue

Hey guys i'm looking for a filter to check out all in pre coolers for formats like hypers.As in my all in net winnings last year(filter "Allin on flop or earlier")was almost double that compared to this year over same sample and am wondering whether this is due to variance or just being too wide in some spots as my non sd is pretty similar.I am a decent chunk under ev this year but my ev is still much lower than last years over same sample size

So really im just trying to figure out if im not getting premium hands as much as I was ...?

Filtering for 'coolers' is difficult since you can't filter for villain's hole cards.

You could filter by date range and compare the number of the premium hands and divide it/them by the total number of hands in the More Reports > Preflop > Holecards if that is what you are looking for. The More Reports > Races might be a helpful report as well.

Hi, I'm back playing on Pokerstars for the first time since Pokerstars7 has been launched.

My HEM2 is working fine on zoom but my table ninja 2 is not working at all...

I get a message from TN2 saying "Mercury Theme has been detected, use at own risk while in Alpha"

However I am not actually using mercury theme, Ive tried using Hyper simple and Black but neither seem to work, any ideas? Cheers.

WPN does not write summary files for any of their tournaments so I have no idea what that AHK script is doing/creating and what would happen if you try importing them to HM2.

We were getting flooded with spam and had to start manually approving forum accounts and taking a very strict line as to who we approve. In short if the forum account waiting to be approved doesn't have a site/store account or any email history with us we do not approve it. Any forum account that is not approved we also block their IP address forcing them to email us directly so we can unblock them if they are legit users with no contact history yet.

Please email your IP address with a link to this thread and your forum name to hm2support@holdemmanager.com and I can unblock the IP and create the forum account for you manually.

If you want a different username from this forum username please email at least 2 alternate names in order of preference.

There is a report in the poker client that can be run, he's using an AHK script to convert the report to PT4 tourney summary format. What format would be needed for HM2?

HM2 does not have anything like that AFAIK but I don't know much about PT4. Feel free to email us a copy of what it outputs and the hand history files and our testers can take a look at it.

There is no hand history file this is just the tournament summary report in the client that users can run. The program converts the text into acceptable pt4 tournament summary file so buyins and prize summary can be identified for those of us that play on WPN. Surely you guys have some format you use for tournament summary? How do you guys currently read buyin and prize info for a tournament on WPN?

There are 4 tournament numbers in that first code block. We would need those hand history files.

Since WPN doesn't do summaries we try to infer results from the information in the SNG hand history files which I believe is impossible in jackpot/spin type games. At sites like stars, ftp and pacific that write summaries we import those and get the results from the summary file. We do not have a proprietary HM2 Tournament Summary format/file PT4 does but if you were to send the hand histories and that output code in a text file, along with a link to this thread and the ahk thread, I can have our QA/Testing Manager take a look at it so he can determine if it is something we should consider adding in the future to HM2 or HM3.

This is not my area and not really the place to discuss it so please email the requested information if you want us to investigate/discuss it further.

I think i have tried everything, so close to just stop using it but feels like a waste of money...

I get random freezes, sometimes it freezes for 5-10 seconds and starts working, sometimes i have to restart both holdem manager and pokerstars, and by freeze i mean i can't press any button, so i time out of my games. Sucks when you are HU or whatever.

It's not my computer i have a good one...
