Ahh yes, some times the stars updates will disable this option in their client. Thanks for letting us know what solved it so I can remember this if anyone else has similar issues in the near future as a result of the same update.

Going to download HEM1 and HEM2 on my new laptop. Same with TN1. I have copies of all of them and mainly use HEM2 and TN1. I currently don't have pokerstars downloaded on my new laptop. Could i install HEM1 and HEM2 without issue on this new laptop and basically just look at the settings on hem1 and hem2 i have on my other laptop and basicaly just copy the same settings by doing it manually?

I know back then i would have stars downloaded then check hand history and everything but i assume i can do this all later?

Also another important question i have. When i install hem1 and hem2 on new laptop, i know they ask to name it either computer 1 or computer 2. I don't recall 100 percent if my current old laptop with my hem1 and hem2 files i put cpu 1 or 2 but i believe i put cpu 1 for it. So that means i have to put cpu 2 for this one right?

Thus if i put cpu 1 for the new laptop and activate it, does that mean i will lose all my files on my old laptop with hem1 and hem2 files?

I will be using that laptop as the main one from now on. I will most likley in the future install hem1 and hem2 on my other dekstop and this old laptop i wont have anything poker in it. So just want to make sure.

Yes, you can do it this way but if the pokerstars client is not installed and you have not played any real money hands then there won't be any folders for you to configure in the Site Setup > Auto Import Folders section of HM2 and you will have to create that folder manually. If your current computer has a custom hand history path in the pokerstars client and you use the default path when you install it later then the hands won't get imported until you correct the HM2 auto import folder.

That is most likely what you did so just pick PC#2 when activating the software on the new machine.

No, of course not. You would just need to reset your license profiles in your account on our site then you could activate it again if it were to become deactivated for any reason.

The same code can be used on 2 pc's at once and can be reset as often as needed. Please try using our site to retrieve/reset the code whenever necessary - https://www.holdemmanager.com/store/login.php

If you have any problems activating either program we have a separate FAQ for HM1 and HM2 registration issues on each FAQ site that explains how to solve most activation issues.

The hands should not be saved to your desktop. IPoker clients generally save the hands to 2 different paths which can be found on our IPoker Setup FAQ and I don't believe they give you an option to pick your own custom path.

Make sure the poker client and hand histories are both in English. If it is not, you need to change it in the Lobby Options or reinstall the software and choose English.

*Note that we do not support play money hands so you must test/play real money hands when using HM2 - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...ay+Money+Hands

If you continue to have problems:

Please follow the instructions in the following FAQ and reply back with the answers to the 12 questions in that FAQ. Those answers should help us quickly identify your issue, skipping questions will just mean we have to ask again in the next email and will delay the resolution of the issue - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...es+not+work%3F

Alternatively you can use our Priority Support Tool which often resolves the issue and it will ask you relevant questions and at the end it will forward us the answers if you couldn't resolve it - http://www.holdemmanager.com/store/priority-support/ - look for the 'HUD is not working' topic. Requests via the priority support tool receive higher priority than normal emails.

xml files are normal for ipoker hands. Please follow the instructions at the end of the previous post if you are still having problems so we can help you via email as there is nothing more we can do to help until we see the answers to those questions and a log file. This thread is designed for quick questions that require a single answer and anything more complex that requires any amount of back and forth needs to be handled via email or in a dedicated thread on our forums.

*Edit: Great, glad to hear you got it working.

Hi

I think we've covered this before but on 888 where it wasn't possible to fix the hud positions when a full ring table is short handed.

Is there any way to stop this happening on stars?

When the table fills up it fixes itself to the correct postions.

This is a normal table not a table starter.

Thanks again

It's hard to be sure what is causing it without seeing the log files but please try this early forum release of our next beta and see if it helps - http://forums.holdemmanager.com/hm2-...t-support.html

*Note: If you also play zoom tables you should use the v6 stars client instead of the v7 beta client I see you are using in that screen shot.

If you continue to have problems:

Please enable the Settings > Feature Logging > [x] 'HUDStats' option and increase the Max number of log files option to 10 so old logs are saved with date/time stamps. You can also enable this before you launch HM2 from the Start Menu - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...ging#startmenu

Please reproduce the problem and:
- Use the tool in the following link to send a HUD Report - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...Reporting+Tool
- Attach a screen shot of the table/desktop
- Try to include the Active Sessions tab and/or Sessions Report that also includes your windows clock and poker client lobby clock in the screen shot
- Save a copy of the original Hand history for the table with the issue
- Close HM2 and zip/attach your \HM2Logs folder with a detailed description of what you were doing and what problems you were experiencing - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...ger+Support%3F

With all the above information we should be able to narrow down what is causing the issue, if all the information is not included we will need to email you again to request it.

Please zip and email the requested files to hm2support@holdemmanager.com and if there is a forum thread with additional information please link to this thread and let us know your forum name if there are several people in the thread.

Was working fine before the update

It just says waiting for hands. Mail to support?

I am going to give you the same basic reply I gave MMD one post above as there isn't much we can do in this thread to help with these issues as there is no easy way on this forum for attaching log files and this thread isn't designed for helping to fix complex issues like the Zoom HUD not working:

It's hard to be sure what is causing it without seeing the log files but please try this early forum release of our next beta and see if it helps - http://forums.holdemmanager.com/hm2-...t-support.html

*If you play zoom tables you must use the v6 stars client instead of the v7 beta client as there are known issues we are working on with their beta 7 client that are not yet addressed in v8235 beta.

If you continue to have problems:

Make sure you always start HM2 first before you open the PokerStars Client. If you closed PokerStars for any reason and did not close HM2 please close them both and start HM2 before you stars PokerStars again.

Please check all of the steps on this FAQ - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...rs+Zoom+Tables

If you continue to have problems please send the requested files/screenshots as instructed at the end of the FAQ in the link above.

Can anyone tell me if there is a way to show the tournament type, speed, buy-in and site in the replayer hand view? With my current setup the only identifying factor is info like "Trny:60228332 table 1" at the top of the window which is completely useless when reviewing hundreds of hands at a time from multiple tournaments. I need to be able to distinguish smaller buy-ins from larger ones, turbos from non turbos, re-buys from freeze outs and satellites, which poker site etc.

Also is there a way to add a note to a hand as it is being saved so that when I'm reveiwing the hand I know what it is I was intending to check on, i.e. "check raise or fold" etc?

I've Googled a bit to find answers with no luck, but they seem like pretty straight forward requirements so I'm hoping I've just missed the solution out there somewhere. Any help would be appreciated.

There was some talk about the replayer hand view being improved to include an option to pick a prefer seat for replays... any updates on how soon this might happen?

We really need to see a log file to make sure there aren't some things causing your problems we can help you to solve and have your email address so we can add all of this information to our internal tracking document if you don't mind. You can put the log file on dropbox/googledrive and PM us a download link with your email address if that is easier.

A few other things you could try to see if it helps when playing:
- Does it help you disable the Options > Settings > General Settings > Miscellaneous > [ ] 'Automatically Refresh' option and restart HM2?
- Try leaving HM2 on the 'Home' tab when playing.
- Try picking a villain in the reports that only has a few hands in your database instead of your hero and restart HM2.
- Try creating a new smaller database with just hands from the past 1 or 2 months to use when playing.

You say you imported a lot of hands recently? How big is your database according to the Database Info and how many hero hands do you have? There are some config file edits you can also try to improve performance of larger databases by forcing HM2 to use more or less RAM if you have a lot of hero/alias hands if none of the above steps have helped - http://forums.holdemmanager.com/bug-...ml#post2436812

This is not possible. You will need to review in smaller batches from specific tournaments (using the More Filters > Tournaments > Buyin filter and other filters may also help) and/or use the Tournaments report instead of some of the other more broad reports.

You can mark hands from the Table HUD with the right-click menu - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...cuts#handmarks

Or from the hand history viewer with the check box in the upper left corner - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...ater+Review%3F

Then use the [x] Marked Hands filter in the Hands View grid to review different marks/tags you assigned to hands - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...w-marked-hands

There is no ETA on this project. The priority of this project was lowered some time ago and put on the back burner and I am not sure when it might come back to the fore-front again.

We have a beta release in our forums that includes this fix if you want to give it a try now - http://forums.holdemmanager.com/hm2-...t-support.html

If the HUD does not start automatically on a particular tournament please see this FAQ on how to use table finder http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...+not+appear%3F

If you continue to have problems we are going to need to see a set of hud logs for any tournaments that are still not displaying the HUD.

Thanks for the reply, shame the answer's no all round, but thanks anyway.

Do you foresee the hand view replayer being updated to include basic tournament information like buy-in and speed in the future? Seems like basic information and setting filters for every situation just isn't always practical.

It would be very useful if it were possible to add individual notes to saved hands instead of having to make new tags for every situation.

I vote putting preferred seat selection for the replayer back on the list. It's incredibly annoying the way it is.

Not sure if I'm aloud to ask this, apologies if not, but does anybody know if any of the other HUDs have any of these features?

I am not sure if this is part of the replayer redesign plans but I will add your comment to our internal document we are using for tracking this so the developer and testers can be aware the next time we are working on this project again.

You can make notes on specific hands using the Hand History Viewer. My apologies for not including this option in the previous reply. It is shown as #6 on this FAQ - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...51/Hand+Viewer

Quote:

This is part of the replayer redesign plans but it will not be part of the first redesigned replayer release and would be added later after we have any major bugs worked out and a stable new replayer. There is no ETA for when we will start working on this project again so I can't give any sort of estimate for when we might have a preferred seat option in the replayer.

Quote:

PT4 has the preferred seat feature in their replayer. I am not sure if it has the other features you were asking about. You would need to ask them in their support thread at the top of the commercial software forum.
