I have this. And it's very good. I actually got it by mistake I wanted Tournament Indicator. I play tourneys more and the TI is better for that. There is a trial for it if you want to try it out.

It's a decent small time program. When I first got into online poker and didn't know much about tracking software, this was the first one I used.

For what it is, it does the job fine. It doesn't use a database so the player mining information is only stored for that session, at least when I used it.

The UI (user interface) is somewhat clunky as it displays a large box with all the players stats beneath the poker window, or where you choose for it to go. There is a minimized view, but it's hard to read. Having a HUD (heads up display) right over top of the actual players name on the software is a much better idea as multi tabling is no problem.

If you're after the odds calculated, Poker Office might be a better choice as it's a little step up in terms of features, however it's $80/yr which I thought is a pretty lame business model when Hold'Em Manager and Poker Tracker are one off fees (until I'd assume a new major version is released, then upgrade fee).

thanks for the replies guys, really appreciate it!

I currently own Holdem Manager, would the HUD interfere with HEM's HUD? Would it be too cluttered?

Thanks

I've been using Hold'em Indicator for ages now, I got it legit by signing up to a new poker site and playing there to get the free license. Been using it nearly a year.

Today avast! identified it as a virus Win32:Beagle-AID [Trj]

Anyone else having this problem? It's popular software...

I've emailed their support, no answer yet, can't see anything on their website about it.

Best off contacting their support. Very few people here use the 'indicator' software programs.

No need for a new thread so I merged it back here. What does your last post even mean? You say you need it, and then post the link to it. Go ahead and download it. If you are having problems with it I suggest (again) that you contact the developer. They dont have a customer support presence here, or a large user base.

Honestly no reason to post the download link, which is why I deleted your previous post. It's the first hit if anyone searches 'omaha indicator'.

It looks useless, btw, unless you want help w/ pot odds or seeing when you have the nuts (haha wtf).

OP, try Omaha Manager.

If someone who knows anything about poker indicator can help me I would really appreciate it. It loaded okay but I am having problems with the following. Hopefully I am in the correct forum. When it attaches to table it starts calculating stats from the moment you sit down. Can I find players stats in that game previous to when i sat down? If so how?

I tried to get a players stats who was giving me headaches and I got reply that no such player exists. I read through faqs nothing found related to my questions.

Educated guess -- Poker Stars has been gradually making changes to their software that makes it harder for 3rd party programs to access the realtime data stream, and that affects allowed programs like Pokerindicator as well. Just because PokerStars allows the program does not mean they are providing it any support or guarantees for access to data. This additional security in the PokerStars software client may have broken Pokerindicator?
----
EDIT
I just downloaded this program and tried out the free version on the PokerStars play money tables, and it works there. This is actually the first I've heard about software like this (realtime odds calculating) and wow -- how many people use it? Seems really powerful. I wonder if the real money tables have different security that would make that software not work?

I have never used 3rd party software until yesterday. I have always wanted to try it out, but since I only play omaha and o8, the choices were slim and none. Until yesterday when I came accross omaha indicator.

I'm not promoting this product, just wondering if ne1 else has/is using this and please give your opinion?

Depends what you intend to use it for. As a pot odds calculator? Stats Tracker?

u can use that at all the big poker rooms because it DOES NOT give you any instruction on what to do. It just gives you pot odds etc.
