I have exactly the same problem with Holdeq not connecting Flopzilla anymore. I have the newest versions Holdeq v1.1.4 and Flopzilla v1.8.3 and both are being run as Administrator. I have set up exceptions with virus detector and tried installing into the different directory but no help.

I used this feature a lot, so I know I can connect them properly, it just stopped working all the sudden. If you can come up with a different solution, that would be awesome. Thanks for the great products anyway.

Flopzilla also contains an internal version of HoldEq.
To start it, go to "HoldEq->Start HoldEq" in Flopzilla's menu.
Does that possibly work for you?

Also, you mention that you have uninstalled and reinstalled to a different directory. Have you also informed HoldEq v114 what the new directory is? Because if it's still looking at the old directory, then it won't work.

I have tried also internal HoldEq, but no help.

Where does it tell in the HoldEq where to find Flopzilla? There seems to be only window setup directory in there. I have tried connecting with running Flopzilla by hovering mouse(and clicking) over Flopzilla window as it tells in Holdeq.

I have problem with adding suit combos in my range. I mean using HoldEq and I try to add every two hearth cards in my range for example but this cant be done. I have not registered version. Is this only working with registered version?

When using HoldEq and pasting a flop with spaces such as Ah 3c 2d as opposed to Ah3c2d, will cause it to close any Flopzilla windows that is connected to, HoldEq will remain open. I'm using the latest versions for both.

Your ranges are stored in the file newdefs2.txt.
So a backup of that file should be all that is required here.
