How does drive determine ranges for the equity calculator?

The only issue that I'm having (in the last 2-3 days) is that my stats on the HUD start over after 10-20 hands or so. The stats on other players at the table are fine. So I might play 100 hands, and the counter for a couple of other guys shows 100 hands, but mine are reset every now and then.

Everything appears to be saved correctly to the tracker (no missed hands that I've noticed)- I'm just talking about the on table stats.

Yes, but they are having some disconnect issues, which can cause resets. We actually have put in some recovery options to help with this. So hopefully it should recover better. But also after their update it seems DC's are less frequent, at least so far.

As far as the ranges in the equity calculator, we use a basic AI that runs through algorithms of ranges based on the players VPIP and the action of the hand. It's not perfect by any means, but for most spots it will be very accurate and you can modify, remove /change any of the ranges as need be. It helps set the hand and ranges up and makes it much easier to evaluate.

Yeah, it's it because of disconnects on Ignition. This was a non issue on Bovada. We do have some recovery processes we're putting in place should it should improve. The actual stats will all be present though like you said, it's just when the DC happens it thinks it's a new table again (because of the anonymous nature of the site).

I finally got the drive HUD to work - It didn't like that I had my icons set to 150%.

questions/observations:

how do i get rid of decimal in stats? I don't want to see VP = 21.3 just VP = 20

how do I make the drive HUD boxes bigger? The font sizes only seems to change on the plain HUD?

If I make a bigger custom HUD how can I remove some off the stats from hero's HUD?

How do I remove the vertical line between stats?

I wondered if that was the case. My only hesitations were that it has only happened for the last 3 days (and it didn't for a month previously), and it keeps the stats for the others at the table, and only resets mine.

Yes, we're addressing some of the DPI issues. It seems to work ok on most resolutions with large DPI's and then not on others.

There's no way to remove decimals right now. We will be adding decimal place options in future builds though.

The DH main 4 boxes, you cannot increase the size, but any of the other stats outside of that 4 you can increase or decrease. Just click on the paint looking icon at the bottom right side when you're in the HUD tab. You can increase, change font, etc.. in there.

To remove stats in the default HUDs, just drag and drop them back to the stats area. There's no way to remove the spacer right now.

Just downloaded the trial and am having an issue.

I seem to be having a problem with postgreSQL. When I try to start DriveHUD, I get a popup to configure the Postgres server. It's pre flilled out

Server: localhost
Port: 5432
User: postgres
Password: postgrespass

When I click the connect button, I get another popup:

Database version does not match with the version you were using before: "PostgreSQL 8.4.1 compiled by Visual V++ build 1400, 32 bit"

If you decide to proceed with current database, you will lose some of your data.

It looks like I also have postgreSql 9.5 that I'm guessing is being used by HEM and/or Odds Oracle.

A couple of times I've opened drivehud, and it's worked immediately but I mostly get the postgres pop up.

Any idea how I can fix this?

Use the latest version I put up where we have some extra DC protection put in. This should help.

DriveHUD uses 9.5. It's some other program you have that's using an older version. When you install drivehud, you're given the option of using the default (9.5), or if you have an existing one installed, then use your older version. It sounds like you didn't choose which one on install and you're now in limbo. Both of them right now are running on the same port, so either uninstall or try changing the port installation of drivehud for 9.5 to another port number - 5433 for example.

I'd advise just uninstalling one of them (probably 9.5), and just use 8.4. Drivehud will run on either. 9.5 is a lot more reliable and slightly more efficient, but it's better to have one selected instead of being in limbo. If your other programs can use 9.5, then use that, but they are probably on older versions.

I can never get the hud to snap to the table, even if I re-position the table after the hud starts. A lot of the time I can't move the table to where I would like because the hud layout won't cover the entire table and attempting to move the stats on to the player would cause them to be hidden. I tried deleting the layouts file in appdata and re-starting, but no luck. Any other suggestions?

I have an update that will address this issue that will be out today. I'd try this new one and it should resolve any initial HUD layout issues.

I have been using v1.0.3.608 since last Thursday. I also never notice any disconnects, wouldn't even know about them if not for using DriveHUD and seeing my stats reset. I will say that I made it about 30 hands a few times in the last few days before they reset, which is slightly better than it was/usually still is.

Also it looks like Ignition has improved a lot in this area with their latest update. I've been seeing them much more infrequently now. So this is a big +.

Ive been using the trial for a couple days, seemed to work fine but now takes awhile to load on start up and will crash everytime I try to activate the trial. Not sure whats going on with the software, have uninstalled and reinstalled several times and doesnt seem to fix the problem. Help please.

I am running into a couple of issues with DriveHUD:

1) The Poker client (BOL) immediately shuts down/stops working as soon as I open DriveHUD. This problem started this morning.

2) For the past few days, DriveHUD won't record any hands played above 2/4. I do have the Omaha Pro version.
