It works w/ bodog, bovada, ignition. The catcher writes hands to your system in real time so that hm2 can launch a hud. And yes, you can run it alongside other pokersites.

No worries. Thanks for taking care of it.

I'm having a developer look into you and Lilu7's issue. So I'll try and have a response for you tomorrow.

Hello, I just started using Card Catcher HUD. I am using it with HM2. I kind of have two questions:

1. In what situation do I need to have the setting "Enable PS HUD' checked?

2. I reside in Central Time. Do I need to change my time offset setting to -1. I've had the setting on no offset, and it seems to work fine.

1) You don't need it unless directed.
2) Your files should write in local time to you system. This setting is if they aren't for some reason (because of proxy or otherwise). Just leave it unless you see the time is off.

Just a quick update. We've been looking at this the last 24 hours or so. We can't reproduce it. I have your email and will contact you about another log the developer asked for. It's definitely not happening to very many people, but I believe it's related to the overlay of the HUD itself. The missed hand is related to that as well, and that's why not lots of people have seen or had the issue. But we think we've narrowed down the cause, and just need more info.

V-day here so I might be a little slow getting back, but wanted to send a quick update.

Ignition / Bodog Card Catcher update - v2.08.2:

http://acepokersolutions.com/poker-s...up_v2.08.2.exe

- Fix to address Ignitions update (missing hand)
- Fix for 3 table S&G

I don't know for 100% if this will address the crash 2 people have seen. Those setups aren't something we can replicate since we don't have MAC's. But theoretically it should.

When a hand goes to showdown and villain mucks, is it possible to grab their holecards? It doesn't seem to be doing so.

Only if they are forced to show. Otherwise this data is not available.

downloaded the newest update, having all kinds of problems now. initially it was giving me the "no hero" error on most of the caught hands, so i uninstalled and re-installed, now the layout wont even come up on any of the tables and the table finder in HM2 is blank when i open it up. i have it set up just like normal, even went back through the troubleshooting steps but to no avail- also tried downgrading/going back to 2.07 but the layout isnt coming up there either and the old "bovada" editions of the card catcher tell me i need to open the client even tho i have ignition running

edit: kinda fixed my own problem here, for w/e reason i only had the import folder for "bovada card catcher" in my list of ipoker import folders, needed to also add "ignition card catcher/hand histories" to the ipoker import folder list. stuff is importing now

If I go a couple weeks (10+ sessions, 60+ hours) without a crash now that I reverted back to 2.07.6, I'm almost certain the issue was being caused by the latest update in Card Catcher since I had ~5 crashes in the past ~week since I updated it. If that's the case I will quote this post and update you guys since I think that certainly isolates the issue
Update - had 0 issues with the old version, through ~27 hours played this week so far. Gonna try this latest update and fingers crossed...

Worked for a couple hours last night and crashed 2 hours into my session tonight. Same thing as before - screen went blank and notified me that the Poker client was not functioning and closed down.

Tried a couple other things and no cigar. Fired it up again and this time it crashed 5 minutes into the session. However, I was able to get a log of the session. I just emailed it to you. Please keep me posted as to what the developers think the issue might be. Still same notification/white screen as the one in the screenshot I posted itt a couple weeks ago. The only clue for the developers is that I have no issues with 2.07.6 version initially released for Ignition, so it must be being caused by one of the new features.

Thanks man

Ok, thanks. I see your e-mail. I'm going to need some more details about your setup. It has to be some 3rd party app or system specific setting. I mean literally you're the only person having a crash, and there's a ton of people who use this app. I just know from experience if it's something general about a program, a lot of people see the same thing. So it has to be something specific to your setup, and I'll ask you in email for more details so we can figure it out. Thanks!

I've been trying to isolate the issue for awhile now and i'm not sure what to attribute it to, but i've also been a victim of crashes for a really long time. It's rare when i can play a session without experiencing a freeze. Today i've had 3 so far and was just wondering if i could send you my logs so that you can check them out.

Sure. And I need to know what 3rd party apps you're using. I'd just send them to support. The other reported crash was 3rd party related, and we have one from lilu we're still looking into. Have you tried to go back to an older version of the catcher? I think the automated HM2 window overlay has caused an issue for a couple of people, and the older versions before 7.9 didn't have this.

I think Alex sent you that one version to try. At this point we've exhausted our resources in trying to re-produce what's going on. We've spent at least 30+ hours of development time on it now over the past 2 days, and we've run I don't even know how many S&G's now (since this is the area people say is causing the issue), w/ no luck.

So if anyone has advanced logging turned on in the catcher and knows how to re-produce it, please help a brother out. We've tried everything to this point we can think of.

Yup - currently trying out that version and if no avail, Alex mentioned would try implementing the on/off option for the main feature that was changed between old and new versions of the card catcher.

Definitely appreciate all the help to trying to get this sorted out!

Just wondering, what would happen if I updated HE2 to the latest version?

I'm still using version 2.0.0.8079

Yes, absolutely. Just fyi, we had two other people report this issue, and the other two can't reproduce it either. Both we concluded it might have been a temp ignition issue. And based on everything we tried, we're thinking the same thing. So it might be all for naught right now as no one can get it to crash again. But let me know what you find. I appreciate your feedback on it.

I am having issues with the HUD lining up with the correct player while im playing MTT.
I made sure in the catcher and in HEM2 the preferred seat is set correctly. Its weird, i can see the hud juggle around after a new hand starts..its like it goes back and forth..one hand and then back to wher eit was the next hand repeat.. when i click on the little geat symbol on HEM2 table options, it says 10 handed default. Do I need to change this to 9 or what? Not sure what to do thanks.
