I haven't downloaded hands from Ignition before so I wasn't sure how they allowed you to filter them. I was thinking of the case where I played both Zone and non-Zone tables in the same day.

After I entered my serial # and clicked "reset serial" I was taken to a blank white page with the word "success" in the upper left hand corner. Is this what I'm supposed to see? Will I be getting an email with a new serial #?

Yeah, they will convert differently, and under pokerstars as a site. So you'll be fine.

Yeah, that means one of your activations is reset. It doesn't mean you're getting a new serial. If you need to look up your serial, there's another form for that, this is just to reset an activation. If you have 2 activations, I'd recommend running it twice.

out of nowhere, the software stopped working. I tried to reset the serial (with success) and tried to register again but it doesnt work. Do you know what's going on?

I am still unable to unlock the cash NL portion of the hand converter. I have deleted the license in my folder, have tried reseting the serial several times, and know for a fact I am using the latest update. Both the Omaha portion of the hand converter and the card catcher are working fine. Very strange.

Perhaps your Holdem version is expired? If you send the error message you're getting to support they can let you know. That would be my best guess though.

I was having this issue as well. Make sure you have the latest version. For whatever reason, mine wouldn't update from the client, so I manually downloaded the newer version from the link FreakDaddy provided. Once I reinstalled to the newer version, it accepted my registration keys and it's working again. The newest version is 1.053.

Yes, thanks for answering. I missed this I guess. Here's the link to the latest build:

Is there any way to script or schedule the converter so it runs automatically at a certain time or day?

No, not really anything that is feasible. We thought about this some time back.

You could use AHK or your scripting language of choice to launch the converter, send mouse-clicks and keys where needed. Then put that script in a scheduled task in Windows.

I haven't checked if the converter exposes any command line arguments. If so, that would make it that much easier. I'm pretty sure the answer is "no" though. Those arguments would be easy to implement, but I doubt there is enough demand for that functionality to make it worth the time.

Either method would assume that the hands are already downloaded and ready for conversion though. Scripting the auto download of the Ignition hands is possible, but that software lags so bad that you could never count on the clicks to happen at the right time. I'm not sure how successful subclassing that client wold be either.

What is your use case that you need to run it on a schedule? Maybe there is a way to get what you need.

Yeah, we're aware. It would get extremely messy, and any solution would be kind of klunky. And additionally we'd have to bump up the cost significantly because support and other costs would increase quite a bit.

hi

last batch of converted hands (I'm on Bodog not Ignition fwiw), from approximately the most recent 1-5 days ago, aren't calculating AIEV. using PT4, saw some rumblings from earlier posts but not sure if a solution was posted.

cheers

Update your PT4 and hand converter. I haven't had any reports of this happening, and I think it was w/ a certain version of PT4, but can't remember entirely now.

is there a way to eliminate the movement of original files that I convert? i.e. as of now I must select a "move original hands to" folder - I would just like to keep them in the folder they are pulled from (which changes every so often).

No, we don't have an option for this, but in theory if you choose the move to location as the same as the converted folder it should just keep them there. I haven't tried this, and wouldn't recommend keeping original and converted in the same folder because you'll get errors in import if you import the whole directory.

Anyone else experience slow customer support from their support email? I bought platinum for the card catcher AND hand converter cash+tournaments, but the serial number for tournaments is blocked off in both the website and the email from AcePokerSolutions. No word from support and I emailed them late Tuesday night...tried calling this morning but got an answering machine.

Turns out I emailed sales_copy@acepokersolutions.com which does NOT work for support! they got back to me right away this morning.

Yeah, that's a no-reply address. Can you ask a mod to delete your above post (at least the e-mail address), so we don't get slammed w/ bot email spam? Thanks. I assume your issue was resolved.

No, it still works fine. We did a lot of testing on this a couple of days ago. I haven't seen any issues.

I've been having a weird problem with converter for the past 5 days or so that I need help with. The issue is that 99% of my hands come back as "error" and each import gets only 1-5 hands. I'm not sure if this has to do with the software update, or I'm just missing something obvious. Any advice?

Thank you!
