1: HM2 feels way slower / more buggy than HM1. This is my main problem.

Examples:

creating a graph really takes a time (i don't have a slow computer). Sometimes it hangs. Adding or removing filters takes a lot of time.

2.

Overal UI is not user friendly. I like the UI from HM1 much more. Keep it simple guys! I imported my old hud configs but where are my hud pop ups? I don't understand how it works, and seriously I don't want to spend a lot of time reconfiguring everything. I don't see where I can put my HUD as a default, it will be somewhere right?. Everytime it opens hud default 2 and I have to select my hud.
Also filters are added like tabs, why can't I just close the tab ? Punt a x on it, now I have to clear the filter.
I totally agree with the above. I imported my HUD from HEM 1 but the pop ups although imported are not "linked" anymore and I have to do all this manually. In short HUD import from HM1 -> HM2 does NOT work flawlessly.

I would expect to be able to import my HUD and database without a fail and start playing immediately. As is I must reimport the original HHs (and not HMArchive) to get 100% perfect stats. Also, many of the new stats have very confusing names and in the window that I see their names I often need to horizontally scroll to see the full name (we/users cannot adjust the window).

will it be possible to create custom stats for the hud in hem2?

When is the non beta version of HM2 coming out?
10-31-2011 , 08:53 AM
Where is the Replace button that I have to click to enable Street by Street hud?

There was a short time when the pop out graphs wrote from right to left, but this is fixed.

We apologize that there are instances of this from time to time. Please keep in mind this was in beta.

We have introduced the first of a couple major updates that address this. Please also see this thread:

What does the pixel overhang number change?

Thanks
We continue to look at ways to shave off excess space while not cutting corners causing stats to run into each other, or cut off.

I will look into this.

Not immediately. You can add note caddy stats.

Do you mind sending me a PM on how to contact you re: the first issue with the pop-ups imported from HM1. Agree with you that you should not have had issues with that and Mike Lamb would like discuss with you further to see what the issue might have been so that we can correct for others that had same issue.

The hands must be imported again because the HM1 and HM2 database structures are completely different. If we had stayed with the HM1 database structure, then we would not have the capabilities that exist in HM2 for current and future features that the platform will support.

We will take a look at the length of some of the abbreviations. Good point on that and easily fixed.

Thanks for the feedback.

Jim

1) Street by street works in cash only
2) To get it, you need lobby in English
3) You need HUD options - site options - live tracking enabled
4) Dealer chat set to Show everything and press Chat button on table
5) Go to HUD options - site options and set HUD you want for desired street.
Replace button "goes to history" - simply select HUD from drop-down list there - it will be applied immediately

It seems to hang whenever I try to import hands from HEM 1...
Just randomly frozen at "Importing 200 of 33777 hands"

If you want to backup your HM1 database and upload it to a file hosting site we can try to download it, restore it in hm1, and then import it to hm2 to reproduce the issues.

Email a download link for your database to hm2support@holdemmanager.com with a description of the problem.

Have you tried creating a new database and manually importing the hands with the Hand Importing window instead of the Database Import window?

*Try creating a new UTF DB - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...m+Manager+2%3F
*Now import a small portion of your \HMArchive so you can see if the problem exists in the new DB - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...Hand+Importing

All original hands that are auto-imported get moved to an archive for performance reasons. Your \HMArchive is likely not in your \Holdem Manager directory. We normally suggest you use C:\HMArchive, but you may have put it anywhere.

The archive should be organized by \Month\DayOfMonth (example: D:\HMArchive\2009\07\31).

*If the new DB seems to work properly, you will want to import the rest of your archives to the new DB, export/import the hands from the old DB to the new DB, and export/import any player notes and tourney summaries - and then delete the old DB.
*Make sure you export/backup everything before deleting the old DB - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...r+%28Ribbon%29

Yeah, I can manually import it but I figured since noone else mentioned it, letting you guys know would be good.

Any idea when the new site will be up? I purchased a laptop which arrived today, can't activate HEM2 until I can find my license key.

I have been trying to login with HEM1 and HEM2, I see there is an update happening on the website...is it still going on and is that the reason I'm not able to use HEM1 or HEM2 for most of today? I open HEM2 and it asks me to login to my HoldemManager Account but after about one minute it comes back and says Beta version expired. Can you tell us when you expect the transition to be complete?

We are actually just finishing up. Barring anything unexpected, should be back up within an hour.

The site is being updated for the launch of HM2 in the store.

Thanks for your patience.

You should be able to skip registration and use the Try button while waiting for the site update to be complete.

http://forums.holdemmanager.com/gene...n-expired.html

If you continue to have registration issues, or are unable to use the Try button, please send your Reg.log file. Email this file to hm2support@holdemmanager.com

XP:
c:\documents and settings\{username}\application data\HoldemManager

7/vista

For both, you have to show hidden files:

XP:
Open My Computer or Windows Explorer
Click Tools/Folder Options/File Types
Check Show Hidden Files

7/Vista:
Same process, but click organize/Search & Folder Options/View

Will I be able to keep HEM 1..im trying to get a download for that
11-02-2011 , 02:45 AM
purchased upgrade pretty much as soon as it came out, I tried to import the 50k hands that I requested and recieved from stars(1.08g total file size) and imported using the hand importing feature, it imported 3.6k hands before telling me that it had finished... redoing it with single files sometimes gets duplicates and sometimes does not, but each time it imports <500 hands.

To all: I believe we will be closing this beta announcement thread soon.

Please use the new HM2 support thread for all future questions and technical issues - http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/16...trial-1120915/

Can you forward us the the original email from stars, with links to your hands, so we can download and test the hands? Are these cash hands, or tourney hands? If tourney hands: did you also request tourney summaries/histories?

Email them to hm2support@holdemmanager.com with a link to this thread and your forum name.
