when i change set folder permissions, I untick 'Read-only' and press apply. when i go back an look it still show read only . I have windows 8.1

That is a common windows annoyance on some folder's permissions. If you followed the instructions on the Security tab properly you can ignore that it toggled itself back on at the General tab.

I would like to add the HEM note-icon to the HUD to be able to manually add notes other than via the poker rooms client. When i hove over this note-icon it will show some automatically processed data (scatter graphs, etc.). Is it possible to set it up in a way that only shows my manually taken notes when i hover over it ?

I want to change the HUD a bit, but when I look in the HUD Designer for HEM2 in the AJA-6MD-HUD, all the preflop badges are called NC.PrefixedBadge.6MD-BADGE-PF1
and I'd like to organise certain badges to certain positions on my HUD but I don't really know which badge is what by looking in the HUD Designer. I have the same "issue" for the postflop badges. When I click on them with your HUD, it tells me what the Badge is, but in the HUD Designer of HEM2, they all just appear as some form of BADGE-FCH or similiar

PF2- vs3B, vs4B, vs5b
PF1-all other preflop badges not included in PF2

FRH-Flop as the preflop raiser SRP heads up, so any badge that could happen on the flop as the preflop raiser such check/fold flop, fold vs flop raise, fold vs donk,ect

FR3-Same as above but preflop action was 3B

TRS-Turn as the preflop raiser SRP, so any badge that could happen as the preflop cold caller on the turn such fold vs turn stab, check fold, ect

FCH-Flop as the preflop caller SRP heads up, so any badge that could happen as the preflop cold caller on the flop such as fold vs flop cbet

The first letter is the street, second letter is the preflop action and third character lets us know if it was 3B or SRP.

F-flop bet size
T-turn bet size
R-river bet size and river specific badges like hero, fold vs river bet and bet fold river.

We did the badges in groupings like that so we could keep them ordered by street and preflop action and take up a minimum of space.

You could potentially place individual badges. Instead of using our prefixedbadge you can look for the specific badge in NoteCaddy->Badges and scroll throught the dropdown menu. This will be difficult in with the dynamic package. There are hundreds of badges that we use to make dynamic badge. With the premium package it will be easier to find your badges.

I believe this will work:

HUD Options->Select your HUD->General Settings->Select 'show note icon'

I already added the note icon and it works. However, when i hover with my mouse over the note icon, it will then not only show the notes i manually took, but also a lot of other notes that have been automatically created by notecaddy definitions (like scatter graphs etc.).

I would like to know if it is possible to set it up in a way that it will only show my personal created notes when i hover over the new notes icon and leave everything else as it is.

AJA stats being placed in the notes shouldn't happen.

If you double click a def in NC and go to the HUD tab you'll see an option to 'show in the note popup'. That should be deselected.

Is it possible you have some of the default defs or defs from another package active? You can either deactivate them or deselect that option. If some of the AJA stats are showing up, please let us know.

For anyone having the same issue:
There is a thing called "notecaddy top 10", that can be removed by going to: file->settings->HUD and setting "maximum amount of notes in the note hud popup" to 0. Also needed to disable Caddy scatter, which did appear in the notes icon, too.

These max values are usually only needed for larger databases (1 mil+) and Avon81 said his DB was only about 500k hands. If switching back to the hard-coded default settings (350mb base and 400mb per milli) helped then it is possible some other setting combinations between the max or min may improve his performance further. I can't link to our forums outside of our support thread but if you google search:

you will find the detailed instructions with some other suggestions and instructions for the min values you can use. Play around with the settings and try some different values and you may be able to improve it even further for your system/database if you are still having any sort of performance problems.

I usully use my ordinary computer when grinding and if I have to do it away from home I either grind in OSX with PT4 or with the help of TW.
Both kind of sux so im thinking about expanding my bootcamp partition and installing HM2 there aswell.
I cant remember if its possible to use the HUD (premium) on more then one computer (with the same HM2 account ofc)?

It's bound to your HM2 account so yes it will work from a licensing standpoint.

Im unable to load the hud in the HM2 replayer for player with larger samples (>50k hands) including hero.
Tried letting it be for 20 min but dident solve the problem.

I bought a pack for note caddy "AJA Dinamic HUD for cash game 50nl", and after i play a sesion i see total hands on that hud is: 3185h. If i change the hud with my old were i have hm2 stats(total hands), on the sesion table or on a replayer, i see at the same player and the same table total hands: 1722h.

On hm2 aliases section , i see 1722 total hand at the same player....pfffffff!!!!!

Stats created on notecaddy with that pack have more hands in database.....------>HM2 stats not seeing all hands........but that it's a anomaly notecaddy is based on HM2 database................no???

I have big difference between note caddy stats (AJA-6m-HUD-v1.1) and hm2 stats(Default 2.0 hud). Note caddy stats(AJA-6m-HUD-v1.1) seems to have close to double the nr. of the hands that i have played vs that player and my HM2 database ......do you think that is posible?????..........where they are stored?????

Differences is vs. all players and it is bigger as i increase the number of hands.

Has note creation finished? Open up HM2 and check the note creation tab. If not you need to let it finish.

Are you getting the AJA HUD but no information (just a lot of dashes)? If not then make sure you have the AJA HUD assigned.

If you are getting the HUD with dashes and note creation is finished then it's likely your system is having performance issues. Go through the NC Performance Guide that is in the NoteCaddy coaching folder on your desktop. I would also try a smaller database of hands.

That is vv weird. Yes NC pulls from the HM2 database. Try rerunning notes. NC->File->Reset notes

yep.....after "Reset notes" and new "Note Creating"------->everything is ok.

I get the HUD but only but without number of hands showing and if I try a popup it loads like 50 hands or something.
For hero HUD it loads a unknown amout of hands (but more than a couple of k) but without any badges showig.

Can you email some screenshots to AJA@NoteCaddy.com? I'm having trouble understanding what is going on with your HUD.

Hi all. My system is i7-4700HQ @ 2.4GHz, 8G RAM, 5400rpm 1TB drive. There is an empty drive slot where I could add in a SSD. I am wondering if Dynamic HUD would work if OS is running on the slow 5400rpm drive but the database is on SSD? I am thinking about making this investment (SSD drive+Dynamic HUD+NoteCaddy+HM2, and maybe extra RAM?). Please advise.
