Any way to use partycaption with a Joystick? i want to play partypoker with joystick.

I was using it yesterday without problem, but today the .exe was killed by bitdefender.
I added to exclusions the folder and the .exe file and reinstall it (also trying to complately remove everything and download from the webpage and install the same and the pre****us version) but i have this error msg:
C:\PartyCaption\PCaption.ext
An error occured while trying to rename a file in the destination directory:
MoveFile failed; code 5.
Acces denied.
-> i click ignore (rerty it not helpful) , it goes all along but at the end i have this error msg:
|PersistFile::Save failed; code 0x800700005
Access is denied.

888 needs an update
heard from multiple ppl it dioesnt supprot the 888 soft today

Okay Igor helped me over skype and it is fixed.
Problem was: bitdefender -> i just added the PCaption.exe to: list of files and folders excluded from scanning instead of -> List of precesses excluded from scanning.
If anybody will have a similar problem, that will solve it.

Hi I have a problem with 888 Caption, I play from a Laptop and an extra monitor, the secondary monitor has a wider screen than the laptop but a lower resolution, I play on the secondary monitor as it is wider than the Laptop one, the problem is that when I move a table from screen 1 to screen 2 the HUD panels move outside the table, at first they worked fine as I created the HUD while the table was to the secondary monitor but then the next day it started giving trouble and now I can't make it work, I tried resizing the table, restarting the laptop and closing a re opening the client and 888 Caption and it just won't work, Party Caption works well so far, I include a screenshot of the problem, I also tried relocating the HUD panels towards the table but they disappeared after I dragged them and I so now I can't even find them in either screen, the panels go back to their place if I put 1/2 the table on each screen as they are extended but will move out again after I move the entire table and it changes size. as shown in the screenshots.

oh and also, is it possible to hide the original bet size buttons on 888 client to replace them with custom ones? I could do it with party caption but couldn't find a way to do it on 888

Does anyone with bought licence have problem during play with PCaption's notification saying Party Caption is running in demo mode?

Seems 888poker client doesn't run as admin as described here.

You can add such buttons to HUD in 888Caption too (use HUD / Player panels / Bet (formula) for this, and read here about formulas)
But I don't know how to hide an original buttons. Maybe I'll find a way to do this in the future.

where do these colour codings get safed? Are they the same as the standard party "colors", just with better colors? I just want to make sure not to lose my colour codings.

Yes, PartyCaption just replace images and increase size of color marks.
They a the same partypoker color notes and you can find all your marks in c:\Programs\PartyGaming\PartyPoker\WatchList.txt

Also you can find 10 backups created by PartyCpation there (WatchList_0.txt, WatchList_1.txt, ...)

Are you far away from implementing delayed actions for mouseclicks (not only hotkeys) in StarsCaption?

Is StarsCaption missing "pot bet formula in raise size calculations" from PartyCaption, or am I not doing it correctly? I have set up postflop buttons for many sizings, but it doesn't work for raises.

On 888caption, there is an option where when you register sngs... let say max you want is 12 sngs. You could filter it where say 7 of them are say 5 dollar stakes and say 5 of them are 1 dollar stake. Thus you would register max of 12 tables but if it registers say 5 of the 5 dollar sng and 5 of the 1 dollar sng... well the next 2 sng registered has to be the 5 dollar one. Thus it cannot register a 1 dollar one.


On partycaption, is there a reason why there is no option for this? Thus say someone want to register 12 tables, but they want say 7 tables of certain stake and 5 tables of certain stake, there is no option to do this. Thus it would auto reg the first available 12 tables etc. Thus it could be 7 tables of a higher stake and 5 table of a smaller stake when you could actually want 3 table of higher stake and 9 tables of smaller stake. Is there a way to fix this issue?


Also is there a way to filter sng on partypoker like stars with favorite? Yes you can filter it where its 9-10 max or 5-6 max. But besides that, there would be a few different formats of a certain stakes. Yes you could also click on the speed and check the right ones but still many sngs have like 2-3 different formats. Is there a way to have favorites on partypoker with sng? On 888, they have something similar like favorites but its no where like stars etc.


There is no way to have an sng lobby opened the entire time even after its finished right? Example if i want to have one of them opened because i want to look at the payouts etc. But once that sng is finished, it closes after a short while?


Also is there a video where it shows how to preset bet sizing preflop on sng vs mtt? You mentioned this was possible but you have to go to advanced etc. Is there a page or video that shows how to do this? Since your preflop raise sizes in an sng with 1500 chips is always going to be less than a tournament where you got lot of chips to start etc. I would thought there was an option where you could say okay use these filters for mtt only... and these for sngs only... and say these for sng heros etc...

There are many different variables / operators can be used in formulas.
If you need a pot bet raises, then you shoud to use the x prefix (look for description here). It works by this way:
x1 - bet pot formula
Also you can use x2, x0.5, x0.75, x1.5 for different bet sizings.

Also you can read this description about pot and x1 differences.

This will be implemented in PartyCaption too in the future.

There is no way to create a different sizings for SnGs and MTTs, but you can try to configure different preflop sizings depends on effective stack size.

There is an example:

There are five different preflop openraises:
1. All-in for stack 5bb or or less
2. 2bb openraise for stack 5..10bb
3. 2.2bb for stack 10..20bb on BU and SB
4. 2.3bb for stack 10..20bb for all positions except BU and SB
5. 2.5bb for stack greater than 20bb

By this way you can create any complex betsizings. You can use more complex filters and formulas vs limpers, for pre-ante/ante, add additional filters for blind levels, etc.

Hi, a friend of mine is trying to buy the software but its not recognizing his acc (license ''unknown''). The programs is allowed by the firewall, it's in English and it's running as admin already.What else it could be? He acctived the trial yesterday and it was working fine though, thank you

I was playing sngs earlier with partycaption on. However, partypoker freezes quite a bit. When i played, i noticed that i could not sit back in and i was sitting out at all my tables. Basically it was autofolding every table i was at when i had partycaption open. Does anyone know else have these issues? How do you sit back in the table manually? The thing is partycaption is on so it should auto sit back but i cant. But where specifically is the sit back in?


The only way i could fix this issue is close partypoker while im playing and log back in and then open partycaption. This is ridiculous. Anyone else have these issues?
