I don't work on a new program now.
Some time ago I have done some of the work with PokerStars client, and I think I can make StarsCaption in a month or two.
But there are many good programs for PokerStars and I'm not sure whether it is necessary for someone.

Maybe I will also make the program for iPoker and other rooms in the future. But it requires some preparation and a lot of free time.

But this is not a statistical software and it has a simple informational HUD only.

Got a question for 888Caption:

I wanna stack all 6 tables in one spot. Lets say that its my turn on table 1 and I have to think about what to do and in the meantime its my turn on table 3 as well...what do I have to do/what setup do I have to use so that table 3 is not automatically popping up with table 1 still undecided...I wanna avoid the case that for example I have action on table 1 and decide to fold but like literally a small moment before I click fold another table pops up and I have AA on that table but since I was already almost clicking fold I cant react in time and fold the AA instead of folding the hand on table 1.

I've never played by stack on 888. Activating the tables on 888 really works this way?
If it so, I can make a special mode for table activating.

Now you can try to use one of the Table manager modes, but there is no any mode with single stack.

Sorry, there is no way to do it now. But maybe in the future I will do something for this.

There really is no simple way to do this? I really only want the table that required action first to stay on top until I have acted and not switch tables every time action is required on a new table.

Messenjupp, ok, I'll try to to it. I believed that this mode works with 888 settings (Game settings / When it's my turn to play / Pop up the game window).
I'll try to check how this option works and will try to do something better.

Messenjupp, I checked 'Game settings / When it's my turn to play / Pop up the game window' option in 888poker client and seems it wors fine (I checked it out with 888poker p-1-en-4-6.20-11-3). Tables are popping up sequentially, and if there is my turn on a several tables at one time, then one table pops up and all other awaiting my turn.

You have this option works in a different way?

I think the 'pop up tables' issue that's described here is due to a bug/interception when running PT4 HUD, at least it was like that several months ago when I played there. I reported it to them way back, but don't think it's been fixed.

Yes, this bug was in 100% cases with an old 888 client. Some external HUDs could be causing this effect. 'Hovering HUD' option in 888Caption has been made to avoid this with 888Caption HUD.
But it was with an old 888poker client and I don't know how it works with a new client (maybe it fixed, I don't know).
And it seems that HM2 HUD did not cause this problem (probably HUD realized by another method in HM2).
In fact it is a bug of 888poker client, any child window can cause this problem (888 notes editor too, for example). I'll try to test yesterday how it works (child windows on a new client tables).

Hello I am a sng player and I have the trial for 888 Caption (v2.20a) and have some questions:


1) With 4 tables or less I do not use the table manager but with more than 4 tables I do because otherwise I have a overlay of tables and cannot see my cards at all tables. Is there a hotkey for activating/deactivating the table manager? If not can you create it?

2) If i make a bet on flop I want to make it one big blind plus 5. Is this possible with a hotkey if so please explain where to do it.


3) What is min full card table size? It is now set on 720 px.



4) On your page I found this '2. Tables with the same blinds are sorted by table title.'

I rather would have that it is sorted on remaining time for the next blind level which is the case right now when I select tile in the 888 poker software. Is this tile feature still possible when having table manager active? If so, you can ignore this question and the explanation below otherwise can you change (or add another feature) the sorting based on remaining time for the next level instead of table title?

Explanation: I need to keep the same order of tables at all times when sorting. For example when a new table opens in lets say slot 6 and I press sort after it I do not want it to change with table in slot 5 because of the table tile. It needs to stay it in slot 6 because it has the most remaining time left on the corresponding blind level.

1. There is no hotkey for this now. But I'll try to think about it.
2. Plus 5 chips? There is no way to do bet in chips, only as a percentage of the pot size or in big blinds (or any sum of it).
3. This option doesn't work now (it works with some first versions of the new 888poker client). In fact, I removed this feature in v2.20b because of it.
You can use 'Options / Full card view' if you want full cards (in this case you can see your stack by [stack] or [stack_bb] tag).
4. Ok I'll try to think about it. I'm not sure I can find exact value of remaining time for the next blind level.
About Tile + Table manager - I don't know, but you can try.

Is there no option for "right click doesnt generate a hotkey event" for PT4?

There is no any options for PT4.

I have problem with mouse wheel, I have set 0.5bb sizing up/down via mouse wheel, but it not work always, on sometables/sometimes it increase about 1.5bb and no 0.5bb, why?

1. Would be great if you can manage hotkey for enabling table manager. Even better would be if you can set a hotkey for different table configuration so you can change quickly from lets say 3x2 to 2x2 back and forth depending on the amount of tables on the screen.

2. Yes plus 5 chips. If the blind is 10/20 I would like to make a postflop bet of 25 if the blind is 15/30 if would like to make a postflop bet of 35. So I bet 1bb + 5 chips. Is there such an option for hotkey bet 1bb + x chips or simply hotkey for bet x chips on flop? Would be great if you could create.

3 I tried full view if I understand correctly with this feature you can see also the bottom of your cards instead of only the top?

4. Would be great if you can manage sort based on remaining time. The tile function does not work properly when having table manager on, I tried this today.




Okay I also have some new questions after playing my 1st real session with 888Caption2 (used 2.20a now updated to 2.20c). For what is worth my 888poker client is p-1-en-4-6.17-511-2. The attach delay is set to 2 seconds. I am a professional poker player. Hope you can help me out.


5) Cannot minimize the 888Poker lobby to task bar when playing. If I press minimize it is popping up back right away. Strangely it is not happening when I am viewing a few tables, so only when I am playing myself.

Without 888 Caption on I do not have this problem. I can minimize at all times regardless viewing or playing myself.


6). After I ended my sng session today I pressed the unregister all & stop button. Nothing happened so I pressed a couple more times still nothing. Tried to manually unregister myself through the 888Poker client still nothing. Closed 888Caption still nothing. Had to close the 888 Poker client while playing several sngs. When I was back the 888Poker client crashed (everything was closed lobby plus active tables) right away when opening my active tables when I pressed okay for the popping up message to resume play on the active tables. The third time logging in it finally did not crash maybe because I did not press the okay buttons right away to resume playing although normally it does not crash if you press the buttons right away to resume. In fact this is the first time my 888poker client crashed. Any idea what happened here and how to prevent it from happening? It is costing money.


7). Should I start up 888Caption before running the 888Poker client or the other way around or is this not relevant at all?


8) At the beginning of my session something went wrong. Normally the 888Poker lobby is located/minimized on the taskbar to the left and any tables on the right of it. This time I had the lobby in the middle so I had tables on the right and on the left of the taskbar. On one table I could not click at all. Had to exit 888poker lobby and 888caption while playing. Any idea what happened here and how to prevent it from happening?


9) What is the difference between hotkey Rbuttonup and Rbutton?


10) Did not find the hotkey double right click only left double click. I cannot use single right click because I need this for player notes. If you use this as hotkey you cannot use player notes because it is overruled by 888Caption as hotkey. Can you add double right click as hot key?


11) When a new sng table is opening I get the message 'Cards will be dealt to you shortly good luck'

How to auto click it as I cannot find it under dialogs and I do not want to use auto accept all one messages as I might miss something important?


12) Would it be possible to get rid of the flashing advertising banner and the play casino banner bottom right in the 888poker lobby?

5. It can be when you are using SnG registrator. The client does not update the lobby, where it is minimized. So SnG registrator restores it if you minimize it (when registrator is active). You can move the lobby over the edge of the desktop instead of minimizing.
6. I don’t know what it can be, sorry. The second and third time you ran 888poker without 888Caption and still had problems?

888Caption2 seems to be moving my mouse near the action buttons all the time, I can't find a setting to prevent this?

Also, is there a way of opening tournament lobbies on 888 with Caption open? Currently having to close and re-open it every time I want to check a lobby.

Also if you could come up with an option to close "'Cards will be dealt to you shortly good luck" dialog as suggested above, that would be great it's super tilting and you can't act on a table until you've pressed ok.
