Well he did have a good GPA at Stanford when he applied to Harvard biz school. Getting into Stanford with a GED was more impressive.

I moved to Las Vegas with a friend whose brother dropped out of high school because he was a drug dealer. He was smart enough to earn a GED, score perfect on his SAT, and receive admittance to Columbia University. Having graduated as salutatorian at Columbia, he now attends Harvard Law School and no longer deals drugs. I agree with Blitz, getting into such schools with a GED is way more impressive than with a high school diploma.

Harvard business doesn't care as much about GPA as harvard law and harvard medical. Your work experience, recommendations from employers, and essays are FAR more important.
