Re: PLO coaching from a mid/high stakes regular

I've got a new live play video review where I 2 table 2/5 PLO Zoom and get a little bluff happy in the recorded session. If you're an NL player curious about the world of PLO cash games or interested in hearing my thought process while I play, you can see it here:

https://www.pokervip.com/coaching-vi...l-zoom-session

PS. Please don't pay any attention to the legendary PLO player title or high stakes games they put in the video description. Pretty flattering, but massive exaggerations.

I've got a website up where you can get a free video series where I break down common PLO leaks that NL players make when switching games. Get them here:

There's a new 500 zoom video review that I've put up that you can watch for free. I play around with bet sizings on different streets and go into more detail about range advantages and how they change from flop to turn in different spots. You can see that video here:

Re: PLO coaching from a mid/high stakes regular

Having played poker professionally for over ten years and really been slacking for the last couple I decided 2016 was a year where I either needed to start taking things seriously again or try something new. I got in touch with Sean for coaching and it's turned out to be a great decision - he instantly re-ignited my enthusiasm and love for the game and got me thinking about poker again.

We are coming to the end of the ten session block package and throughout he has been nothing but professional, courteous and available whenever I have a question. On top of that he's really easy going and a breeze to get along with.

He's considerably improved my winrate by pointing out some leaks, discussing theory and how to exploit certain player types but more importantly he's got me excited to play poker again and have the confidence to battle in today's tough games.

Gregor, thanks for the feedback and honest review! Re-igniting the enthusiasm of a long time pro might be my new best brag as a coach

Re: PLO coaching from a mid/high stakes regular

What about players that are playing at the 25plo level? Is this suitable for you or are you only looking for players playing higher?

Hablo fluido pero nunca hice una clase - podemos hacer una mini clase si te interesa y si no es de buen nivel por tema de idioma no te cobro. Pasame tu Skype por aca o por PM y charlamos, gracias.

Sorry I missed your question earlier. The majority of my students play around PLO100 when they begin coaching, but I've also been coaching a few players at lower stakes. Through that experience I've been able to get reads on the player pools at those levels and ways to exploit the average regs in those games. But at the end of the day it's up to you to decide if it's worth the investment to speed up the development of your poker game.

I understand it's a bigger commitment for you in terms of buyins and that can be scary, especially if you have never gotten coaching before (or worse, if you had a bad coach). If you have any questions let me know here or via PM.

Re: PLO coaching from a mid/high stakes regular

It's taken me longer than expected, but I've just released a comprehensive video course on PLO MTTs. It has nearly 4 hours of presentations that cover different PLO theories and concepts, and 6 hours of 2 different MTT video reviews with commentary. It also comes with a 40bb PF sheet so you know exactly what to open, cold call, and 3-bet from each position, along with what to defend out of the blinds.

This course is designed for small-mid stakes PLO cash game players interested in MTTs but who are uncomfortable playing shallow, or don’t know how to navigate the different phases of an MTT and how to make the correct adjustments from cash games. It's also a good fit for mid to high stakes NL MTT grinders who want to start improving their ROIs (and have more fun with 4 cards) by adding PLO MTTs to their mix of games. If you're already beating 5/10 PLO and play some tournaments, this course probably isn't a good fit for you.

You can get more info on the the course here (including a free excerpt):

https://www.plomastery.com/p/shorterwvid-1472687226

The price is $549, but for the next 2 weeks (until Sunday November 20th) I'm having a launch sale and offering a $100 discount. Just enter "2P2MTT" in the coupon code section.

If you have any questions about the course, feel free to ask me here or via PM.

Re: PLO coaching from a mid/high stakes regular

Hi,

We at www.gopoker.in recently launched a stable. And we were looking for NLH and PLO coaches for a stable of about 50 players.

www.gopoker.in is an online poker platform for Indian players. We recently launched on the 16th of October.

Would love to get directly in touch with you, so we can evaluate things and try to move things forward.

Thanks and Regards,
Devvrat

Re: PLO coaching from a mid/high stakes regular

I have a few spots open for students in 2017.

I'm also looking at taking on a few good candidates on a long term coaching for profits basis. If you're interested, PM me with:

- current game(s) you play
- total time playing poker
- your poker history (few sentences)
- any references/vouches you have in the community

Hey Sean, I am in India and mainly play INR 200/400 (USD3/6) on the trusted local sites. I have not put in volume at any international sites for PLO and find that the style of play on the Indian sites is extremely different. Besides the recreational players, who tend to overplay very marginal holdings, I feel i can beat most of the good regulars. However i find it very difficult to play against a few, who i would like to plug my leaks against.

please let me know if you would be interested to have me as your student. Thanks for you're consideration. my email is jaqkhigh@gmail.com

Re: PLO coaching from a mid/high stakes regular

Results from tracked sites from 2016. I was playing a decent bit live in 2016 and coaching took up a lot of my time over the year, hence the low tracked volume.

Re: PLO coaching from a mid/high stakes regular

I've updated the information page for my PLO MTT courses, and in addition to PLO MTT Mastery, I also have a more accessible, entry level course called PLO MTT Foundations.

You can find more info and get them in time for SCOOP and WSOP here:
