Keyser offers a database review, you can find him in this coaching forum.

Note to All NL $2, $5 and $10 Players

I do not offer the 2 hour and 4 hour database analyses to players at these levels. The reason is simple: my normal pricing is to charge one or two buy ins for the highest level the player is playing. Were I to accept players at your level, I would be working for absurd hourly wages, and doing the session would be -EV for me. Were I to charge you a reasonable hourly fee, I would be charging you a significant fraction of your bank roll, which would be -EV for you.

The compromise that I have arrived at is that I offer free one hour database analyses to players playing $2, $5 and $10. This is +E(karma)V for me, and is plenty of time in which to find the major leaks of relatively inexperienced players playing at these levels, so it is +EV for you, too.

The only restriction is that I can only do two free one hour sessions per week, so you might have to wait a while for a time slot.

I'll need you to have a total sample in your database of 15,000 hands for the review to be worth your time.

If you're interested in a free session, just shoot me a pm.
Matt...if you still do a couple of free database analysis for 5nl I'd be really happy if you'd do mine....contact me anytime Rabkebab1965@gmail.com it would be much appreciated. Keep up the good work!!

Re: mpethybridge--Database Analysis: Finding and Plugging Leaks with HEM and PT3

After the Black Friday soul-crushing, I obviously took a long hiatus. I'm just going to leave it at that.

I am again scheduling sessions for anybody that might remain interested. I just did my first session in a long time, and it went very well, imo. Hopefully the client will see this post and post his thoughts.

The games have obviously changed since BF. Because of that, I am now offering the 4 hour session review for all stakes, not just NL $100 and up. So NL $25 and $50 players have the option of either the 2 hour session or the 4 hour session.

Price reduction in effect while I get back into the swing of things:

NL $25: 25/hr
NL $50: 35/h4
NL $100+: $50/hr

If you want a session, shoot me a PM; one of the many things I have to get back up to speed is my website, which I don't think I have even looked at since ~August (yeah, life has sucked).

To be honest, I'm struggling to think of ways to give you the praise you deserve without sounding like I'm sucking up. I couldn't have asked for more and I feel a bit guilty only paying $50 for all of that. The database analysis was great and although you didn't seem to find as many major leaks as you were expecting from a 25NL player (which is a good thing for me), I'm sure the leaks you did find will cover the training cost in no time.

It's not just about the database analysis though, your training methods were excellent and like I said in the pm, you clearly know the game inside out, I have never spoken with any trainer or anyone else that seemed to have close to the amount of knowledge of the game and ability to relay it in easy to understand language that you have. Not only that but you were good fun and easy to talk to, I actually really enjoyed the training session.

I've been thinking about and going over some of the insights and concepts that you took me through already and will be going through my hand histories looking for where I could have made better Plan A / Plan B decisions if I had put adequate thought into it like you suggested.

I was extremely impressed with the coaching and will definitely be coming back for more so thanks a lot!

Also, two issues:

1. If you play the Euro tables, prices are in Euros the same as USD tables.

2. I mentioned the price reduction, but neglected to mention that the free coaching offer for players playing NL $10 or lower is still available, and still limited to two hours per week.

Re: mpethybridge--Database Analysis: Finding and Plugging Leaks with HEM and PT3

Hiya, i play 25NL and i am currently winning at about 4bb/100 over 115k hands. However, the last 60k of those hands have been breakeven. I feel i developed leaks in my game, and its time i had a tune-up. Please pm me, or e-mail me at markjamestoney@hotmail.com, i'd like a database analysis as soon as possible!

It would be an absurd neglect of your game not to attempt to schedule time if you are a micro stakes player at 10nl or lower and struggling.

Matt's knowledge has been firmly recognized by this community, but his demeanor and level of character are also outstanding. I wasn't sure what to expect from talking with Matt. Time and time again I get to a point when I try to learn from my mistakes in every venture in life and normally when I run across someone with more knowledge they lack severely in character, expression of thought, and/or willingness to spend the time.

There is nothing short of a solid, highly skilled good man in Matt from what I can gleen from our conversation.

Looking forward to finding a happy place with poker so I can book sessions at higher limits.

EDIT: Someone ship this guy $20 to rematch some miners at 5-card
