So...what short stacking experience do you have?

I dabbled with some shortstacking a long while back. I haven't done it in awhile though...but it's very math based and I still have all charts/excel sheets around.

ill coach for less than half of what you charge and I actually have proven success in todays games.

I don't know if it's ok asking for a refund, i wasn't cheatead by dailyvariance, i just don't learn what i expect on the video series. The thing that i think is wrong is saying that you're going to crush NL50 with this series. Safely i can say that this video series is for a NL10 or a NL25 player with a mediocre winrate but a player that is crushing NL25 or a 2 BB/100+ winner on NL50 has nothing to learn with this video series.
The term "crushing" for a NL50 player i think that is ok for a 4BB/100+ winner. Somebody who's winning more than 4BB/100 is already crushing so it's pointless to buy this video series. But for people like me that is winning but not crushing this video series has nothing to offer.

On the other hand (and i know that this is DV thing and not yours). The video series went down from $297 to $197 in less than one week after i bought the series so, i'm feeling worse!.

Maybe i'm gonna contact DV and instead of the money i'm gonna ask for the NL200 video series that is on the market for the same price. I hope i don't get dissapointed again.

I would never be directly tied to any product (none the less directly promoting) about anything really, unless I agreed and was in accord with the title.

There are 6 coaches who use numbers to advertise themselves in their titles here. 5 have graphs and stats in their OP corroborating this. The other guy with a 100k system shows 170k in winnings.

Split, you can delete this if you change your OP, but you are lying to your customers. Coming from someone who has won more at full ring in one month than split has in his career and has played 5 million hands in the last 3 years, I highly recommend against hiring him for his services. He is simply unqualified and unprofessional.

I'm also tired of all these abusive marketing tactics, the time has well come for transparency in coaching/training. The title here leads one to believe that if they purchase the product, they will learn a system - meaning something you can just follow and get results. They are led to believe this system will very probably earn them 100k+ at micro stakes in 2012 if they follow it. Nothing could be farther from the truth as a 100k year at micros has never been done. And if you could crush micros that hard you would be quickly moving up to higher stakes.

Along with all the other daily variance crap, and some other 2+2 coaches marketing tactics, and failing to prove they beat today's games, as a coach myself I think we are well past the age when coaching should be this shady.

I'm glad everyone has an opinion...and even moreso when these people are other coaches and angry grinders who want to use my paid coaching thread as a free marketing campaign for themselves. I've proven that I'm a winning player numerous times, I've been honest about my volume, WR, etc...and that's all I can really do. Being that I've had just shy of 400 paid students and had pretty much no negative reviews says all it needs to.

As I've said before, if you have an issue with the title, go talk to DV. If you just want to use my thread to talk about how great you are...then go buy your own thread, show your awesome graphs, and put me out of business.

I'm not trying to be bickery but I don't understand how or why DV controls the title of your personal coaching thread, especially when you're paying for it yourself.

I think someone needs to distinguish that it is not only other coaches that are bashing you here split, it is the more informed side of the collective community. I will not add more since i think it has already been posted but i agree with the others.

i'm not advertising for my coaching. i don't want to because a. i haven't coached anyone in 3 months and dont plan on it in the future, b. i actually have results instead of deception, so i wouldn't even need to advertise much at all, c. i told you that you could delete my post in the future, and d. i come across as a douche in a lot of these posts.

you might consider yourself "honest" with your winrate and volume in that you don't hide it, but passively having it 1/2 through this thread, and using the absolutely absurd 100k system in your title is LYING.

having happy students is irrelevant. i don't care. i think your product probably blows chunks because you can't win yourself, and realistically would be playing if you could, but it's not beyond the realm of possibility that you bring a lot of value to your students and make them happy.

what is impossible is your title. it's ridiculous. it's absurd. just say you're a 2p2 veteran, or a micro stakes beginners specialist. your WR is pathetic and your winnings are minuscule, but you can probably use actual numbers that aren't lies (like the 400 students, mod, lots of COTW, etc.).

instead, you are effectively making up a winrate, fabricating results, and misleading people who frankly don't know any better.

The title really is pretty ****ing disgusting. Just raping the newbs with less variance than there is at the tables. I get a little shudder when I read that **** I can't imagine having a coaching thread and leaving it up there in the title.
