LIVE NLH COACHING 1/2 - 2/5 - 5/10

I (W. Hubbard – ANL) played online full ring and 6max successfully for several years, and then decided to venture into the live brick and mortar setting in the event that online poker declined due to the UIGEA. I spent ~5 months building my live game from ground up, utilizing the knowledge i had gained from online play and transferring it to the live game. The hand ranges and tendencies of the live players were so different that it seemed many times like two totally separate games.

After the 5 month period of ramping up my live game, I profited at the 2/5 game at the Bellagio for approximately 24 months for ~9 bb/hour and enjoyed ~7 bb/hour at 5/10. After having been observed by several players as being head and shoulders above the average player, I had several players ask me to teach them. I never had thought of this really, however I accepted and found it to be very rewarding helping others, not to mention getting paid for it.

As with any good business, when any customer pays for an item, it must be worth the price or the business quickly fails. Several of my students are gracious enough to allow prospective students to contact them further validating the benefit/cost ratio of my information and dedication to help others succeed. (See website)

Live poker coaching hardly exists, which is quite a shame as today’s books and articles can only touch on subjects that need to be analyzed, discussed and quizzed in order to truly achieve the ability to use the concepts in real time.

I am a very well respected poster on the Live Low Stakes NL forum. My nick is AintNoLimit and most anyone there could give an accurate assessment of my NL expertise at this level. A majority of online players excel due to hard work and most utilize coaching. Most live players do not utilize coaching and it is completely understandable how so many online players rise through the ranks quickly while most live players dwell at the same limit for years. Don’t let that be you. Get on the fast track of playing/studying/learning. It is you that will ultimately benefit.

Check out my new website for pricing and see all the different ways that a player may choose to learn. I have an introductory quiz that I can assure will be mind-expanding for anyone at these limits. My coaching is directed more to the 2/5+ blind games, however the serious 1/2 player will find the concepts a necessity for moving up to 2/5. It is merely $50 and I give a no questions asked MONEY BACK GUARANTEE with it so there is nothing to lose and everything to gain.

www.ANLpoker.com

I offer a various assortment of coaching options which is certain to fit most players’ needs such as…

1. Hand history docs. where player may send in hand histories for analysis.
2. Individual hand history analysis via email.
3. Skype verbal sessions
4. Essays on various topics which pound a concept completely, including quizzing to ensure the player fully understand the concept even when presented with many different variables simulating real game experience.

Check the site out and bear with me, it is brand new and Tweaking it will be an ongoing process.

Good luck at the tables!

Re: LIVE NLH COACHING 1/2 - 2/5 - 5/10

Just thought I'd pop my head in vouch for Bill. I've been getting coaching from ANL for about 5 months now and couldn't be happier. I've gone from a losing player to a winning one and am learning more and more every day...

If you have any questions, feel free to PM me any time ...

Re: LIVE NLH COACHING 1/2 - 2/5 - 5/10

Just wanted to write a quick note. I had my first session with Bill today and was really happy with it. Tons of good information and interesting things to think about. I appreciated that his advice was geared specifically to live low stakes no limit - so it included a good bit of information that I've found hard to come by up to this point. The advice is accessible and he gave me several tips to immediately improve my playing. He charges a fair rate and I'm excited to continue our coaching.

Definitely one of the most respected posters on LLSNL and MHFR. I always look forward to his responses and find that often times when the whole board is leaning left, he veers right (and is usually bang on.)

I have had 5 sessions with ANL and he has plugged many leaks in my game. His prices are very fair and he's extremely flexible with his time. The best and most important thing about ANL is that his sessions are not cookie-cutter. Everything is structured around the individual and what he/she wants to improve on. And that's something that's hard to find.

I'm fairly new to the live 1/2 games but hope to move up to the 2/5 games eventually. Just wondering if anyone has taken the quiz yet and if they believe it would be beneficial for me?

regarding the quiz... "It's only $50 ($100 value)"

I don't see how you can assign a "value" of $100 for something which you made up yourself and charge $50 for. It is a little illogical.

I originally had priced this quiz at $100. And if you purchase a tomato dicer which normally costs $100 for $50 then it to me it is a $100 value. Now that many have taken the quiz, I believe the value to be far above $100 since there are no books that exist which place a player in so many tough spots and gives very specific in depth analysis on each situation. The responses I have received lead me to ultimately believe this to be very true.

Having said that, I have no problem with taking that $100 value off the site if anyone truly believes that it (for whatever reason) should not be there.

With more and more online players moving toward live poker, I definitely believe that in many casino poker rooms, the level of play with be ramped up. I believe this to happen sooner than most think. It does not take but a couple of experienced players to sit in a normal 2/5 game to ruin it for the grinder who has been complacent the last few years. Thus, the information that this quiz alerts the player to is vital for anyone really attempting to maintain his current position in NLH live casino games. Home games, maybe not so much.

Re: LIVE NLH COACHING 1/2 - 2/5 - 5/10

I just wanted to write a quick post after having had several sessions with aintnolimit. I've been a fairly break even player for quite a while and our sessions and hand history analysis have plugged a number of huge leaks in my game. I'd read many poker books and these coaching sessions have hammered home a lot of really important concepts that I have simply not seen covered in the books.

I was a bit reluctant to do the pay per hand analysis at first - figuring I could just post them on 2p2 for free, right? But the in depth responses tailored specifically for my game have had a huge impact. The responses aren't ever "fold, now pay me please" - they talk about the hand specifically as well as the underlying concepts in a way that has made sense to me where a lot of other material hasn't.

FWIW, as a cash game player who has tried very hard to improve on my own and struggled, this has been a great investment.

Hey ANL I visited your site and read some of your reviews. So besides the $50 for the quiz what other fees are there to gain "membership?" Also where are you located?

No fees. Just a lot of good material for the live setting.

Henderson, Nevada most of the time. I travel around some too. LA mostly.

You cannot receive PMs it seems. I have several quizzes now which I attempt to match with the players personal situation. Contact me from the website and I will explain in detail.

Re: LIVE NLH COACHING 1/2 - 2/5 - 5/10

I play live $2/3 and $3/5 games in Southern California. Being coached by ANL has been absolutely and quantifiably +EV. My improved analysis and thought processes have already more than paid for the price of his coaching, so everything from here on out is profit.

For me, the quiz was easily worth $50. Just the process of having to think through and really answer all the questions was worth $50 alone, not to mention how valuable his responses to my answers were.
