Who is Scott Dobos?

I have been playing poker for 5 years both; 6max, and full ring. I began playing HU NL Cash games in the early part of 2008, and haven't looked back. I started at $.25/.50 cent HU, and am now playing up to $5.00/$10.00. I have been coached by a very successful HU player, MasterLJ, for about 3 months. With his insight and assistance, I have further developed my own style of poker, and am now using that confidence to share my knowledge with others.

I am currently coaching for Collin Moshman for his Team Moshman group and I coach for a heads-up cash staking stable run by Flash237 on 2+2.

Coaching Style:

My coaching is designed around my strengths: tilt control, bankroll management, game selection. I will work with you to develop a fundamental approach to the game that allows you to beat basic players. I will teach you how to utilize the programs at your disposal to improve profitability. Once a foundation is established, we can develop your natural style into beating more advanced players.

The Package:

Includes 4 hours of 1 on 1 coaching instruction. Mainly using voice chat (Skype) and Teamviewer.

You may message me as much as you would like on Skype with hand histories. Please include relevant reads, stats, and game-flow. (if you have questions about this, we can discuss it further) I will respond to these as soon as possible.

Bonus:

Hand History Review: Twice a month you may submit a Hand History of your play at the tables and I will critique your play. (This is in addition to the 4 hours of coaching).

Free Lesson: As my schedule allows, I will be giving away free 1 hour lessons to at least one student/month.
