Well, that person you're talking about who finished BPC (successfully!) started at NL10 (took shots at NL25 with a lot of trouble) and was - let's say - not the easiest student. Today he can and does make 10k+ in a month. I am very proud of him and what he achieved. I know how much pain this guy has gone through in order to achieve what he did. And i have given him a LOT of pain...and he back to me lol. We're definitely not buddies tho, but i always respect his achievement!


About playing hours:

You're misinformed. Our system is modeled now in a way that people can play how much they want (used to be min 35hrs, which is still baby time).

I push people to put in hours, because you don't move up from NL10 to NL600 by playing 4 hours a day and taking a lot of breaks.
2 years ago, you probably made a lot more money than him. Right now he can be a bit more relaxed, focus on other areas of life and still make a more than you for example (and he keeps 100% now!!!...so working for free...ehm ok).

Super success and fast improvement have a price. It's not for everybody. Some people improve slower, some people not at all. BPC is the place where people now can improve at their own pace.

BPC's goal is to make money (like google!). I'm proud of it. And i'd like to make a lot more actually. And i can only do that by making more players rich. We brought other world class people on board (not all published yet!)

But there is a lot more, something bigger about it (google is more than money!... it improved all our lives).

The bigger thing is the community of like-minded people. And bigger than that is the future of improving education and creating a place & environment where people with inspiration meet and do great things. This is how BPC will change the poker world and the world of education in general.

Unfortunately you seem a bit cynic about this for whatever reason.
Many times when people talk like this they are frustrated about something else, so no worries i don't take anything personal.

don't worry about the hours (also read my post above). The "lighter" version is already in place and you can apply and join today.

You can improve at your own pace, but of course, don't expect fast 10k months with 2hrs/day. But we'll help you get there!

I wasn't really cynic. Frankly speaking I have a huge respect for you and my impression from Colombia was that you are very cool,smart guy (and someone who achieved a lot more in pretty much everything than me so hard for me to argue with you).

However I do agree that I probably shouldn't post about BPC given than my perception might be skewed given who I got the info from so your little nudge I guess I deserved it.

Don't worry. Playing hours don't get enforced. Any modifications that we have to do on the contract can be done. So no need to apply again!

I am very happy to announce this, since i have been coaching him personally in the past (cash games) and know myself what a great player, coach and person he is.

There are a lot of world class players and big earners that i have coached in the past, but they all value their privacy. So it's good that i am allowed to mention this now.

Do you accept even 5-10nl players? in that case what amount of security deposit do you require? i think its quite hard for a micro stakes player to pay 500$ upfront. Also what if the player is poor but wants to play hu which begins from 50nl at stars? do you stake those players who are accepted in the program?

It is our vision at BPC to give EVERYBODY a chance, that includes 5-10nl players. There will be some sort of security deposit, depending on other details of the application. Doesn't "have" to be 500 Euro.
I suggest you apply for 6max. In those cases we make a case-by-case decision

In order to apply for HU, you will need a bigger bankroll simply because of what you've already said. We don't do staking.

If the player is poor, he should first ask himself WHY he is poor - and be honest with himself. Then he should take action and improve his situation and be willing to do whatever it takes. He can apply to coaching for profits and start with the lowest limit (NL2).

So of course the size of your bankroll will limit your access to some programs, BUT if you prove yourself worthy in one program (likely 6max micro stakes), you will have the money and knowledge to win at other games as well.

So does that mean as I polay5nl that I do not have to pay the security deposit now? if so how do I do that ?

There definitely is a security deposit (!).

Just apply and you will see everything. Like i said the exact size will never be higher than 500, but how much lower it will be depends on many factors, which we will decide on a case-by-case basis.

just got a email from CFP manager about first coaching. Was wondering what exactly this is? I had applied to do the CFP program but wasnt accepted because i was from the US. It was kind of random because i havent really heard much other than deals and new releases. I tried searching it but nothing came up.

I have exchanged some PMs with this guy, but there are probably people who really can't pay the 500 (3rd world country etc etc).

Our goal at BPC is to make it possible for EVERYBODY to join, because i myself come from a background where i had to work hard for every single thing i owned.

For those people with a similar situation we can lower the security deposit. Contact us, but also keep in mind that this will only mean a delay of paying the full security deposit, aka first part of your winnings will go into it.

We're in the process of simplifying the process by a lot, since now we can take people who play less than 30hrs/week and come from all countries.

Besides that, nothing really changes, the program is "the same" (which means constantly improving and getting even better).

In other words, don't worry! Worst case means you have to sign up with the new system, but that can be done in 3min.

Just out of curiosity, what's the time table between sending in the contact to the first coaching session?

I have been waiting for two days roughly after sending in my security deposit. I'm sure Il that I will be receiving instructions shortly.
