Hey all I recently completed the headsup mastermind course and have had a few coaching sessions with Gordon. I can say with 100% certainty that Gordon is the real deal. Its not often you hear stuff like rapid improvement, make 100k/yr etc etc and its actually legit.

After reading through all the positive reviews here and seeing the support of some well known 2p2 posters I decided to get a session with Gordon. He very quickly assessed me as a player and gave me some very good general knowledge in our first session about tilt and spew. We covered a good deal of spots/hands through which Gordon noticed I was lacking some key fundamentals. He recommended his headsup course to me and after seeing how effective and efficient his coaching is I snap bought the course.

I went through the entire thing in a matter of a week. Literally stopping after each video/topic and going onto 50nl hu and drilling the concepts into my head. It was cool because each time I did it, it was like adding more tools to my game. Anyone that says the course is very basic has CLEARLY not gone through the entire thing. Gordon goes into great detail explaining concepts and better than that he gives countless practical examples so you actually see what its like to utilize the information. The cool thing too is after anything he tells u he always says "why that" and then gives you reasoning. Its funny cause sometimes Ill be playing now and literally hear Gordon in my head saying "why that"

Ive been having ridiculous success since completing the course and would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone wanting to learn headsup. Its so well put together I think even a newbie could succeed from watching it alone.


I have only had one actual coaching session with Gordon since completing the series and we are mainly working on discipline/tilt issues for now so I will post again after Ive completed a few more sessions. He has been amazing with answering questions (even when I force him to answer what I now realize to be pointless general stuff lol) I think ive talked enough and results will speak for themselves.

There is no "rule", so if you have 100% airtight disciplin and you can move down without the ego getting hurt etc, 30 BI is fine.

If you're like most poker players, 50 BI is a safe line, which i recommend everybody.

I've been a huge BR nit, having minimum 100 and at lower stakes even 200BI, which i think was way to careful.


TLDR: 50 BI is the way to go for most.

Just had a session with Gordon. I'm currently trying to beat the 25nl no-limit microstakes 6-max. I've filtered all my hands to my biggest losing one's and figured that I don't have a systematic logicall thinking process aka. I don't have a reason for making a move, and trying to make an excuse to make a certain move. I really liked the session even though the hand samples are not quite relevant, I think that the biggest leak that I currently have is found and that I realise that I should work on it before fixing small leaks.

I bought both Gordon's HU course and his 6max course (from bestpokercoaching.com). I play anything from 100nl to 600nl. The 6max course is decent, but the HU course is just great. It's teaches a drastically different style, in comparison to other courses, but it actually works a lot better.

So after finishing the course, I took some private HU coaching. All I can is that Gordon's coaching is worth it's money instantly, by like a threefold or so. The only annoying thing was his German accent, but I can live with that - as long as he's making me so much money

Hi all, I play nl200-nl400 by myself and i bought gordons 6max video course and 6 hours of coachin from him.

About the 6max video course:

I really recommend it everyone who want to improve their game, its basic simple stuff that u will understand easily, but will improve ur game for sure!

And about the coachin sessions, We had 6 hours coachings wich included

-Hand replaying
-making video of the play/comments
- couple liveplay sessions

I can really recommend to buy coaching from him! He explains everything really well and got allways answers for ur questions, no matter how hard situation. He improved my game alot and spotted biggest leaks straight away in 15mins in our first session. I will buy more coaching from him in future for sure!

here is how Gordon heleped me crush the game:

I improoved very quickly and in 18-20 days I came from NL50 to NL200 + Gordon said that with the knowledge I had been given, I can crush NL400 and maybe NL600 aswell.



So, I defenetly preffer the coaching. Its worth its money, if I would be Gordon I would charge more $/hour because its just so sick...

How do we beat each other when everyone has been coached by Gordon?
Then the real challenge begins.

I personally started of with a major downswing and quit poker after trying out the HU Mastermind course.

He is a good and honest coach though!

Actually, it was not a downswing, he had a pretty big leak which we fixed.
