Re: 3RD NEW VIDEO SERIES! #1 in Overall $ at 10/20NL on PS in 2010. NLH 100BB & 40BB Coach

Can you take lock poker or rpm poker instead of pokerstars/paypal?

+1
The 20-50bb shallow tables on Stars were a goldmine back in the day.

Would like to see names and current 100bb results.

Yeah, my brother loves PokerStars. I can't stand it myself. To each his own. I haven't played on PS since pre-BF. All of my volume post-BF has been on Party Poker.

Unfortunately not, we currently take Moneybookers, Paypal, Pokerstars and credit card. Let me know if you'd like me to PM you the info. If that doesn't work PM me and we'll figure something else out.

Thanks.

You have happily posted your full results, can you post your screen names along with them? I'm sure its no big deal with being how honest you are in this thread.

Cheers

Re: 3RD NEW VIDEO SERIES! #1 in Overall $ at 10/20NL on PS in 2010. NLH 100BB & 40BB Coach

I have been playing PLO for several years now and doing well, but every time I ventured over to NL holdem (10/20) I would get beat up. It seemed that I was in a spot every 5 minutes that I had no idea how to handle. My stack would continuously leak out 2-300 at a time. I decided to try a session with Ryan and see if it helped. We just had an hour and went over some basic concepts, ranges, and spots to flat vs spots to 3 bet. I went back to the tables to try out his tactics, and in less than 3 hours had won 16k 4-tabling 10/20. At one table I had the biggest stack I have had at NL in years, and as I watched my chips they were going up 2-300 at a time rather than down. If you feel frustrated at the game like your "luck" is always bad, most likely you have leaks too. Working with Ryan is a great way to fix these leaks and understand why you are getting beat.

Thanks ADK, and yes, I have been and will continue to be a champion of encouraging honesty and transparency for anyone listed in this forum. See my previous post here...

I believe that all coaches should routinely provide updated current, relevant, unfiltered results. This is not a critique or criticism of anyone in particular, just my general position on the matter.

Personally I'd like to see a standard set to have a coach officially "PCFT Approved" (Poker Coaches for Transparency ...I just made that up.) Perhaps a 2+2 mod could do a private results analysis over teamviewer in order to certify such coaches the same way that many video training sites audit and vet their prospective coaches. Now I know it's not perfect, as results can be altered, but I like to believe that no coach on 2+2 is actually altering their results (deleting bad sessions, etc...)

I do believe that if anyone was ever caught posting fraudulent results, that they should be perm banned from 2+2, have their poker accounts frozen and be prosecuted for fraud.

I'm not sure how feasible this all is, and I'm really just brainstorming here, but perhaps all PCFT Approved coaches could be listed differently or color coded in a certain manner apart from non-PCFT Approved coaches.
Having said that, I will absolutely not be listing my screenname on the internet. I fully invite any and all mods in this forum to teamviewer into my computer for an independent verification of my screennames and all results.

But for what reason would the general masses need to know my new screenname? PTR is trash for Party so there's really no way to verify any results via the internet anymore.

I've made a large number of videos exposing my poker soul, giving away all of my tendencies and detailing every aspect of how I play. Listing my screenname would only allow others to exploit me at the tables. Opponents whom I would have no idea who they are, but would know every aspect of my game.

That's the only thing that I can think of that listing my screenname would accomplish. And I play this game to make money, so that's not going to happen.

You are welcome to have a different opinion but my policy is that I don't ask for anyone's screenname and I don't give out mine.

Before hiring any coach, the bottom line is, that you should read testimonials from previous students to know for sure what someone has to offer.

And with regards to my courses, I offer a full 100% satisfaction guarantee on every course...so if you purchase it, watch it and feel like you didn't learn a whole lot of awesome stuff and don't feel that you're a much better poker player after the experience, I'll happily give you your money back.

Hey Cammy,

Yes they do.

When you purchase you receive a login username and password that will allow you to access the videos from any computer, iPad, iPhone or Android with internet access as many times as you like forever.

My review about yourdoom courses and coaching

hi everyone, im andrea writing from italy , and in this post i would like to spend some words about the Ryan courses

first of all i apologyze for my english i will try to make my words understandable,
i knew him trough his video on pokerstrategy and i have been impressed from his way to teach , he is able to explain you in a very clear way , his voice is very good to listen to , and you will never be bored to watch his video and his lessons , but you will want to listen again .

i bought some other courses in the past , and , since i watched them once , i never opened the web site again, i heard coach saying to this , do that ,
but rarely explaining why better to do this or that . at the end of the course , nothing really goood was inside my brain.

whit Yourdoom is a total different story . he is able t keep you attention and to really trasmit in your soul the concept that he explain , i mean , watching a video of poker sometime can be like a movie , but in this way you rarely will really undesrtand what the coach is doing and more important the concept doesnt get inside you , so , when you have seen thousand of concept you have to be able to see the same situation at the poker table and be able to apply the move you studied.
Ryan is able to do this . make the concept go inside you , explain to you why some move is mathematicaly correct , analyze ranges in great depth , showing you why is profitable in the long run , giving you a know -how that maybe you would spend some year to reach and , i dont know how many money... because yes if you play nl 100 or 200,or 400 and you keep making mistake , those mistake cost you lots of money , so why don't invest a minimun part of the money that you would lose , understanding how to stop lose it ?, correcting your leak and knowing move , that maybe you woulnd think about , if someone didnt told you.

i bought al his three courses , and watched all his videos avaiable on pokerstartegy, and for each vido of the courses , for each video of ps i have many many pages of notes , i used to picture the screen and add notes on it , so that i can study it when i want . i make some pdf with it and put on my iphone and ipad i have also acces from my ipad iphone to the video on internet ,and everytime i can i open it and keep studing it, cause it will happen this :
you will watch videos fisrt time , and you will undesrtand somethig but you wil need to play after an try to apply concepts , after you will watch again and you will understand more , play again and you will see some results , you will play raise the flop make opponent fold , and you will say to yourself hey rayn is a great guy! and a big smile will appear on your face he make me win this hand that i would have won before! so you will watch again take more notes , concepts will get inside you and finally you wil be able to recognize everyspot and do all the time the better move in almost each situation that you will find yourself in.

and more, you will have full acces to his forum and still as difference to some other courses i bought , he will answer personally to the question , he is really kind , as i can understand that a winning player in most cases doesnt have time to answer to question , and lose his precious time . but Ryan do this . and moreover you will find aslo a comunity of really good player wo will answer too.

what to say more , if you want to be a very good player ,if you want to grow up fast as a player , you must have those information , you must study and apply yourself , i think is the same as at school , like if you have to learn equation or some difficult math concepth or phisycal concept , whatever , and you open the book and you try to study by yourself.... yes you will take lots of time and maybe you will never learn it and a good or proper way , but if the teacher take you and explain you in depth , you will earn so quick , before the other that they are studing by themselves, so later you will be on the tables and you will have huge advantage on those people whom that are still try to learn. and as at school , the teacher is very imprtant , if you listen to a boring one that is not able to explain it well you still will not understand well , but if you listen to someone who explain so well , who keep you attention hight , and transmit you really the concepts , you will learn so quick and well .i hope i expressed well this concepts .

As i was so impressed from how good the information in the courses , i also bought a private coaching with him .

great great great , no more words.

By the way , of course nobody request me to write this , i just write it cause i love this game , im almost living with it , and i am so thankfull to Ryan to teach me how to live much better i hope nobody read this post from italy

Re: 3RD NEW VIDEO SERIES! #1 in Overall $ at 10/20NL on PS in 2010. NLH 100BB & 40BB Coach

I just completed YourDoom’s latest video series, “Advanced Tactics” and could not be happier with my purchase. It is the first video series I purchased from him, and playing on a smaller bankroll I was skeptical of investing such a large amount of money in a video series, especially when there are so many other resources available to improve your game. The table of contents for the video series looked too tempting to pass up, and I definitely feel like I got great value for my purchase. The videos are well organized and full of content. He tackled specific situations that I had questions with in my game, and not only tells you what plays he likes to make but does an amazing job in explaining why he would make these plays and against which opponents and situations he would make them. I really like the fact that he is a math guy and breaks down the math that justifies the concepts and theories he is teaching. He also does a phenomenal job with answering all questions in the forums to clarify anything you may not understand. I highly recommend this series to everyone, and cannot wait to purchase the other two video series that YourDoom offers.

Re: 3RD NEW VIDEO SERIES! #1 in Overall $ at 10/20NL on PS in 2010. NLH 100BB & 40BB Coach

YourDoom holds your hand through all aspects of a NLH hand in his new Advanced Tactics series. A lot of players, myself included, are striving to play a balanced game in an unbalanced game. If you are an advanced player you may find yourself saying this video series has nothing to offer you – you're wrong. If you truly do know and implement all of the advice in the video it's a huge confidence boost to have it confirmed. Maybe you don't agree with a line of thinking – it's good to know what your opponents are thinking.

The concepts are presented eloquently with little filler. If you don't feel a topic was covered thoroughly enough YourDoom quickly answers questions in the private forum. NLH becomes simple when you have a solid reasoning behind the decisions you are making. The price tag looks hefty at $750 USD but I believe it is a steal at this price and wish it was increased.

I have played 20K hands after watching the series in it's entirety. My play is almost exclusively at $200NL and I am winning at a clip of 5.86 EV BB/100. Next on my plate is to watch the Playing From The Blinds series and grind another 20K hands.
