I'm new to the Marketplace (although not new to 2p2), so let me introduce myself. I'm a 27 year old IT professional who has been playing poker on and off for about 9 years. I picked up the game around the Moneymaker boom and in that time have been exposed to almost every kind of poker imaginable - cash and tournaments, live and online, micros through to WSOP events, Holdem/Omaha/Stud/Mixed Games/Lowball games, FL/PL/NL, you name it!

I am currently grinding MTTSNGs on Stars with a limited roll, as well as throwing in the odd larger field at the weekends when my job allows me to. I can offer the following as a summary of my last ~140 tournaments, although I realise this is not a particularly statistically significant sample:

I am very interested in playing a decent amount of Micro Millions II events, but obviously my BR cannot currently sustain this, so I am looking for backers to buy some pieces of my action.

I will be selling these pieces at no markup - so if you buy 10%, you'll get 10% of all winnings. I'm not currently planning to offer stakeback as well.

So firstly, here is the schedule:

It should be relatively self explanatory, but the events marked with a cross in column A (and marked in bold across the row) are those I plan to play and which form part of the stake. The total maximum possible buyin for each event is listed in column J and is based on using up to 8 rebuys in unlimited rebuy events and the maximum allowance in all other rebuy events - any unused rebuys/addons will be refunded pro-rata to stakers after the series is over.

Totals are shown at the bottom and so you will see that the total package value is $240.96 and therefore each 1% share will cost $2.41. As mentioned above, there is no markup on this stake, so if you buy 10%, you will get 10% of all prizes, along with unused rebuys, addons, bounties and so forth.

There is a second sheet to the spreadsheet linked above which contains a current list of stakers for reference - I will update this as frequently as possible. As you will see from this list, I have taken 40% for myself and wish to sell the other 60%. 15% has gone already though, so there is a remaining 45% (or $108.43) available to buy at this point.

I really do think that this BAP represents good value, despite my lack of recent proven track record, I know that I can deliver a return on any investment and so I would invite any questions which you might have - I will do my best to answer them fully and promptly.

I think you realised from your edit that it's all gone now I'm afraid.

If I'd known there would be such demand, I would have added a couple more events, but it's tricky to do that now with people already invested based on a given price per %... Don't know how this would usually get handled - I don't really want to give up any more of my own equity, I could perhaps spare another 5% tops if you are desperate for a piece?

There are a few events (some of the 2r and 3r events) which I could add to the package, but I would then have to figure how to handle people who have already reserved. I could simply put them in for the % amount which is closest to their original investment amount*, take any additional stakers who wish to get in, then offer out the rest that's left to anyone who wants it, but I don't know if this is good form or not - how would those of you who have already reserved feel about this?


*For example, someone has reserved 10% for $24.10, but I add some events so that the total package value is now $300. $24.10 is just over 8% of $300, so I would re-reserve that person's piece at 8% of $300 ($24) instead.

I'm sure everyone would be okay with you adding to your package (as long as they're not buyins or events that take away value by you having little-to-no experience with). Don't worry about nice numbers, at the end of the day, I, for example, will still have ($12.05/total) %. Do you see?

Ok, so I have amended the schedule on the spreadsheet so the total package value is now $319.14.

I have then reduced each person's stake to the nearest whole percentage which results in a $ amount staked which is less than their original amount, as per the below:

This means that there is now an additional 20% (@ $3.19 per 1%) which is available.

As there are multiple people (including some of those listed above) who are interested, the only fair way I can see to distribute this remaining equity is to allow a certain period of time for people to register their interest and then divide the equity between those who have registered an interest.

Therefore, I will be leaving a window from now until 19:00 WET (14:00 ET) on Thursday 21st June for anyone who wishes to buy a piece to post to confirm this in the thread. After this time, I will divide the equity amongst those who have posted and any remaining shares will go up for general sale.
