This is IAdjust2U on PS. Motivated and pumped ready to produce good results. Got 5th in the $22 12K and 30th in the MFTOPS Event 02 in sundays package.Also last 2 tables of the $11+R 15K in tuesdays package and 21th in $27 20K in fridays pack. Also FT`ed and came 4th in $11+R 10K AH in thursdays pack. Feeling really pleased with my game atm.

About me :
I have played semi-pro online for about 4-5 years now with decent results.
My main focus is MTT`s and PS is the site i put up the most volume in.
For the past year i`ve been a part of the Jaxtrawpoker MTT group, and backed by Peter Falk up until now, when they start focusing more on Sng`s.

i have some very bad news.

Went to bed after my session sunday night. Looked at my cashier and saw that i was 3-400 fpp`s away from a $50 milestone fpp bonus.

Next i got a mail from Pokerstars mid-monday stating that i have achieved the milestone bonus and that it was credited to my account. I thought it sounded very strange, as i hadn`t logged into my account since the sunday session. Was at school and work for most of the day yesterday.

Got a real bad feeling in my stomach, and when i checked now after work my account was emptied. Requested a playing history audit and saw that my account has been hacked and emptied in the timeframe 7.02-7.36 pm 7/10.

Have sent a urgent mail to Pokerstars support and my account was frozen shortly thereafter.
I had a password and a 6 digit pokerstars pin on my account. Have changed my Stars and email password and are awaiting further notice.

Will update the thread when i know more.

Lame ass hackers / crackers

Update :

I`m working things out with pokerstars security and support team as we speak.
My case has been handled over to a specialist and is under investigation.

I found out not long after that both my email and stars account have been hacked from Tel Aviv and Ashdod, Israel.

It`s worth mentioning that Pokerstars is handling this matter really quick and highly professional.
Will update when i hear more.

It seems that the person who has hacked my account has managed to make transfers to another account without it appearing in the transaction history.

For security purpose, they may have frozen the accounts to those who made transfers to me in the sunday pack. Sorry for the inconvenience regarding this, but it`s unfortunately out of my control.

Final Update :

Have gone a couple of days now waiting for a call with Pokerstars. Yesterday 23.30 CET the call came (Late due to different time-zone)

The call lasted for about 1 hour and 30 minutes.

The conclusion from the specialist at Pokerstars was that i firstly will not receive any refunds of any of the 20-30 $300, $200, $100 and $60 HU Hyper-Turbos that the hacker has played on my account. The reasoning was that he had lost the funds fair and square vs legit players trying to double up my funds.

Secondly, the hacker had also chipdumped $455 to his own account. Of these $455 Pokerstars only managed to retrieve $13.25 before they shut down the account.
The remaining of the $455 was lost in games vs random legit players. Therefore i was not able to receive any refunds in this case aswell.

Imo Pokerstars runs with kind of a weird policy/ruling in this case. Unfortunately it looks like i`m left the loser in the end here. The accounts of all the involved in transfers around my last package (sunday) was as mentioned before frozen due to security reasons. These accounts is now reopened.
My own account is also reinstated. I have changed the password and ordered a RSS token to enhance the security.

It shows after the incident that the hacker from Israel had logged into my account for the first time right after i finished my session last sunday.
He then proceeded to use 1 hour and 20 minutes to play around 20 HU Hyper-Turbos from $100-$300 buyin.
The balance in the account increased, and he then proceeded to do a chip dump.
After this, my account get`s decreased down to the exact balance that it was before he logged in. In this way, i didn`t see anything suspicious when i logged in the day after to ship out funds from the sunday package the day before.
The hacker then proceeded to log into my account again and probably saw that i had been in the account and made some transfers.
He then proceeded to lose the rest of the balance in my account in 30 minutes.

Bottom line, i am a bit lucky that got to ship out the funds from the sunday package before it was too late. So the damage could have been worse and those funds would also been lost.
Unfortunately, it`s very little i can do with this ruling that Pokerstars have made, besides enhance the security in my account and prevent that this will ever happen again.
To be honest i was pretty shocked and surprised when i got this conclusion over the telephone yesterday.

I would also like to add that i requested over telephone that they send the "ruling" made and the reasoning behind this in written form by email. But the guy from the security department on Stars said that this would not be a easy thing to do.

He said that he could talk to his manager and give me a reply, but tbh i don`t think that i`ll hear more.

Definitely a sad story. Im not an investor or anything, but as an active member of this community, i'd like to get any proof that the act have happened. My friend has invested in you before and therefore i'd like some kind of proof that you really were hacked. I am not here to blame you or anything, but shouldn't be hard to get a pokerstars rep here to post or get some random email from security, which would sum up the whole case.

I would also like to mention again that i requested that they sent me the "ruling" in this case and the reasoning behind it written by email, so i could post it in the forums for people to see, but this was very difficult according to the security guy from Stars.

We will NEVER ask you to confirm your login credentials or password via email, phone or chat facility or in any way. We do not advise giving your login information to anyone under any circumstances.

Had you written it down somewhere, for instance in a mail? What where the results when you scanned the machine? Any keyloggers or other uber bad proggies? If no programs were found and you havent written your pass down somewhere it must be stars security that is at fault (doubt that) and we should get our $ back.

If you somehow made your acc accessible by a mistake, I think we, the investors, are due some return?

Havent been in this situation before, but I will try to ask around whats common.

I didn't have much invested in this pack, just curious and bummed out....

The op is saying his account was hacked with investors money and because he cant get the funds back the investors lose their money?

If this is the case i say its the ops fault for not even having full protection of investors funds (any player who is playing seriously should own an rss security token) and every investor should be paid back.

The person first hacked my Gmail by sending me a mail concerning a thread to 2p2 with a link to the actual thread. The thread belonged to well known "98harkw", and had nothing to do with me, so then the alarm bells started ringing.

Have talked to 98harkw here on 2p2 about it, and he indeed confirmed that he also have been hacked.
The hacker most likely obtained my pin in one of the mails and proceeded to crack my password to access my account.

I don`t think in any way that i have made my acc accessible by mistake. The scan didn`t acutally show anything suspicious.

Regarding the funds lost, it was only investor "Sirre"´s funds that were lost in the hacking in addition to everything i had on the account. I have already spoken with him.

"Gaas" who had 50%, sent on tilt and i luckily didn`t transfer the funds over to Stars before the hacking took place. His funds is also returned.
"Greg2Be" and "Spoonieluv40"`s funds was also not transferred from PP to Stars because i had additional funds in my Stars account.
So these funds are safe in my PP account and i`m going to ship them out asap.
