My thread "[View] PokerStars could in fact re-enter the US market, was deleted? My thread "[View] PokerStars could in fact re-enter the US market, was deleted?

Hi,
I made a thread in nvg about my view on how pokerstars could enter the USA without any law changes or creation last night.

I woke up today to see it gone before I could read any responses and no reason to why it was deleted. I would love to know why it was deleted and if possible be able to see what people posted in it.

I hope my request is reasonable and am very curious to why it wasn't just locked if it was violating any rules, which I believe it was not.

The thread link is:

It is rare for me to make threads because I'm a very keep to myself kind of guy, so when I do, I bookmark the thread.

Anyway thanks for your time

One post was:

"This might just be the single dumbest thing I've ever read. It's so dumb that it's not even worth asking for clarification."

Others were:

"super dumb"

"OP, why aren't you the CEO yet?"

Probably the most helpful was:

"so you mean Bitcoin?"

Those are some harsh responses
Anyone actually say why it was dumb?

So why was it deleted and thanks for posting responses

questions about moderator actions are usually told to PM the mod or post in ATF.

Do we allow comments that cause post count confusion in profiles?

"Under the terms of the agreements with PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker, the companies agreed that they would not allow for, facilitate, or provide the ability for players located in the United States to engage in playing online poker for "real money" or any other thing of value."

Screamin, that was brought up in the original thread but is obviosuly not relevant or we wouldn't be discussing things in ATF right now

I was about to link you to the same thread; it hadn't occurred to me that it was pointed out to you and that wasn't good enough. Why do you need to know what moderator it was to be able to post about this in the NVG moderation thread?

And I'd agree that it was a pretty dumb idea.
