Which table? Which table?

I am new here so help me if possible. Want to own a table, am looking at olhausen and Brunswick. I have a budget of 2-3k. Any suggestions?

a good used table is best as they are cheap and easy to find usually and well taken care of. i like olhausen but they do have the ball rattle on some shots where the cut of the rails kick the ball out. all their tables are nice. the brunswick are great but only the top tier.

Similar to what Ray said.

Get a used table, get a professional to install new rubber and new cloth (Simonis cloth is what we used to use - I assume they are still around) and get a good playing experience.

A new pool table with poor rubber and cheap cloth will not play as well as that.

Also, make sure your room has room for the table you want. Don't make your game room tight and make shots awkward. A 7 footer with enough room around it is more fun than a 9 footer with walls squeezing you in, IMO.
