I go to Boul Noir too for pool. For snooker, there's only Sharx.

You have an 18 break, 'nuff said. You should start playing money matches, if you're still figuring where to go from here. It will either make you improve a great deal or you'll lose so much that you'll quit playing altogether.

Frank, you know how to shoot but you lack strategy and most importantly you have to learn to use english. It will help you a lot with your break building.

Yeah, I've been working on english. It's kind of tricky

Also, Sharx got rid of one of their snooker tables before I left MTL for the summer. I wouldn't be surprised if they rid of their 2nd snooker table too. I rarely see anyone play snooker.

Yes, English takes the clean Newtonian lines and introduces throw and squirt. If you want to become a genuinely proficient player, you need to learn to accommodate those tiny little curves.

Although it's possible to run a table every once in a while without inflecting the travel of the cue and object balls, reliance on center, with the occasional slight draw and slight follow just isn't going to make the cut against opponents with superior positional skills.

Apparently, the line up for the shot line isn't a problem. So if you want to pot accurately with english, then watch this: https://youtu.be/NlfJmIeqG4o
