are you talking about the shadow method of lining up shots? if so, then yes.

No its not a shadow, this technique requires the light are set up correctly. watch a ronie video look into the light.

shadows are not constant but the source of light is.

I'm pretty sure nobody knows what you're talking about. If you're talking about the aiming "system" where you aim at the light's reflection off the ball, it only works under very limited conditions, conditions similar to "a broken clock is right twice a day".

Any player that wants to excel learn an practice will have controlled condition, clean tables, decent cloth, Correctly heighted rails. And your not good play pool with a spot light of to the side of the table as all of your light are you?
