Cue Sports in Florence? Cue Sports in Florence?

Shot in the dark but anyone know what the pool/snooker/billiards scene is like in Florence. Right now, I'm playing 15-20ish hours a week when I'm not that busy and manage to get in 5-10 hrs when it's paper/exam time. Nothing huge, no aspirations to become a pro, but it's a hobby I take seriously. I got accepted into a one month course in Florence (thinly veiled brag) from May-June and I don't want to let my game rust for a month. I heard snooker and 3CC are big in Europe. What can I expect for Florence?

Italian scene was quite lively last time I was in Florence. Many of the little bar/tabac/arcade style places have US pool tables and lot of people gamble. Just make sure you don't mess around in mob joints - stick to the centre around the Duomo and you should be fine.

Course ended up being so intensive and I was so busy that I ended up letting my game rust for a month. I wasn't searching too hard but I didn't see a pool table the entire time I was there. Stance got pretty weird when I came back and position play and bank shot went to hell. But all things considered, it wasn't too bad, nothing a couple sessions can't fix. Thanks for the advice anyways Wamy.
