Canadas top players will be participating in the great event.

Last night Brittany Bryant and Naomi Williams squared off in the 9-Ball Open final race to 11, with Brittany taking the title, 11-10, in a barn burner match.

They are about to square off again in the second round of the A-side, for the 10-ball Open Canadian Women's Championship.

Should be another great match.

For what it's worth I'll be playing in the nine ball, ten ball, and snooker events myself. Wish me luck

Not to say anything bad about your game for I have never seen it or now who you are, but some world class shooters playing in those events.

I've been there infrequently over the last week or so. Saw the women's 9ball and 10ball finals and the Men's 8ball final. Tonight, Alex squeeked out a win on the 9ball a-side. He was down like 8-5 in a race to 11 and won it hill hill. He didn't seem to be playing his best, then he ran over to his snooker match and ran out half a rack in his first snooker game.

Not much time but I can report that the conditions are just brutal for the snooker. The tables are Nice but they're in a small area with not much ventilation and it's really, really hot in there. And of course the organizers won't relax the dress code even the slightest, so naturally everyone has to play in pretty much the hottest, most uncomfortable clothes they own. No idea why we can't play in dress slacks and golf shirts or something. all these suits and ties do is lower the standard and ruin the show, in my opinion.

Anyways I'm not doing too bad. Still in both tournaments and play at noon today.
