i don't remember worf earning freedom for the klingons and a half romulan half klingon girl. i might have to rewatch tng, and just quickly skip over an episode if it looks like it's gonna suck.

rewatching ds9 is ok if you skip like half the episodes, and skip over all the bajoran crap.

rewatching voyager is good if you skip over like 20% of the episodes

i even like rewatching enterprise season 3 and 4

there is a new semi-pro star trek out. i watched part of the first episode. i think it's called star trek continues. it's TOS, and they got the set and costumes perfectly. the acting is bad to ok. the dialogue is pretty awful. i didn't make it through a whole episode, but it was interesting and cool to at least see the characters back up there.

I just watched STNG Captains Holiday. I kept looking at the girl and wondering where I saw her before...

Then I did a quick google search and found out she is Kristina Kell from Survivor Redemption Island. LOL Hmmph. Time hasn't been kind to her.

No. Kristina played some Andorian girl in that episode, she would've had blue skin and antennae. The main girl (Vash) was Jennifer Hetrick.

Watching TNG for the second time, and almost done with S1. Have to say, it's much better the second time.

Anyway, what other shows are similar to TNG?

I know you're joking, but TNG is unique in that every episode presents some thought provoking situation or insight. I stopped watching DS9 after season 2 a couple of years ago, and that felt more like a story.

ds9 got WAY better in the later seasons.

Yup. Like TNG, aside from a few gems, the first 2 seasons were not really good. Season 3 is when they both got their stride.
