I just looked at the credits on imdb, and apparently he directed one episode of the show. It's perplexing that they even used his name in marketing as he is not a selling point anymore. FOX has always been tone deaf in marketing though, as their movie arm once marketed Lake Placid as "This year's Anaconda", like that would get people to run toward the box office.

Scripts and pacing are his problems, but people haven't been happy with his work even when he's had nothing to do with the scripts.

My question is why is the cop continually allowing Dillon to roam as he pleases for the most part. What is his end game there?

Lol only 2 posts after last ep. Guess people aren't too thrilled.

Same feeling as after second ep, it's watchable but for some reason I can see it become awful real soon.

And yes, the kid has some CORAL vibe. Which can't be good.

The producer did an ama on Reddit this week. He confirmed they are going to cover all three books in these ten episodes. They're changing some things and have to cut parts, but should at least guarantee there aren't dull episodes. Otoh, I thought things do feel rushed in episodes two and three, no time to let tension build. Plus some of the characters are acting stupid because there isn't time to let them arrive where they need to be logically.

Seemed like a lightly attended ama, I just don't think the show clicked with audiences.

3rd episode was the weakest, still enjoying it though. Kid + Mom combo unenjoyable.

I'm entertained still but one gripe. They keep talking about the town being bugged and they can hear and see everything. Sometimes they attempt to use sound cover to discuss things and other times they don't seem to give a **** even when doing or discussing something sketchy.
