pretty sure his plan was to somehow trick the saviors into killing carol which would trigger ezekiel to fight. daryl figure that out and went ham on him and he revised his plan I guess.

Remember when humans died and they'd turn into walkers and sneakily bite other people ? That doesn't seem to happen anymore . In fact , how long since someone actually got bitten by a zombie .. err I mean "walker" ? Wish the zombies would get their act together a bit more rather than aimlessly walking into sharpened sticks and stop signs

It does still happen if no one stabs them in the brain. It happened with Spencer earlier in the season (the guy who got his guts ripped out by Negan). They just don't make a point of explicitly showing it anymore because it's understood. Morgan did start to stab Richard through the brain while the others were leaving. And after Benjamin dies, when the sheet is over his body you can see blood from a stab wound where his head is.

As for why no one's been done in by a walker for awhile, the first paragraph of Punker's post above explains it very well: if you've survived for this long, chances are you know how to deal with a walker, or at least know to stay the hell away from them and not make noises that will attract them.

Now if they could just figure out that the armor would work better if it covered their necks and arms, ya know where 95% of the bites occur.

Zombies are secondary, it's all about what survivors do to survive and compete with each other which I find way more interesting. Too bad the writers and show runner fail so bad at it.

In the early seasons I think even scratches could infect you, now they can run through a horde in a t-shirt and not get scratched.

Shadow? Looked like Daryl or Dwight. Aren't they the only guys with crossbows. Dwight seems ready to betray Negan so that may be the start of that arc.

This season is gonna end in another big cliffhanger isn't it?

It's the only way they can make sure most viewers will come back for next season.

Pretty sure half this season is everyone in Rick's crew doing half assed one on one suicide missions to kill Negan.

I'm okay with that as long as the suicide portion is successful.
