god, this is so bad, wtf yolohiding and not taking every GOOD chance he gets to kill him, he actually killed a guy, got ammo to kill negan but waits until someone tries to grab the gun and offs that guy instead and gets taken.

Well thought-out. Not using lucille on catwalk was also well thought out, I mean, he couldve actually started a riot or something. Nah.

Not bashing him in when he sits with his sister saying he should kill him&dad and stay there. Nah.


Not gonna go about spencer and the spidersenses finding the hunter trap when he darted of the road like he was a ****ing skyrim character with a map and a compass with a lazy-arrow actively pointing direction in case you are to braindead to find it anyway.

Honestly I like TWD but the whole TouchofEvil post is what often happens when Im watching. Stuff is written so illogically at times it just hurts my brain.

i think it's feasible that carl's original plan was to essentially trade his life for neagans, when he got the actual chance he chickened out. he didn't even initiate the original killings, the dude saw him and then he just shot the two ppl that came at him, easy to be a badass hiding in the back of a truck, a lot harder when facing certain death

i dont know why im defending any part of this show, but a 14? yo making emotional plans and then backing down when faced with the repercussions sounds pretty normal

Sounds reasonable, but then again the season premier was just a few days ago in show time right? So he just witnessed all that and none of it was enough to scare him off his suicide mission. A person that would go through that (and all the other stuff he's gone through, including a lot of killing of his own) and still head out on this mission doesn't seem like the type to lose the nerve. Not to mention the fact that he'd have no reason to think he wouldn't have a date with Lucille the moment he surrenders, I'd rather get shot.


But yeah, the whole thing is just so stupid these points are, uh, pointless.

Ya and then we haven't gotten to the point that this is no ordinary teenager anymore, it's a boy that grown up in the god damn zombie apocalypse and done tons of hideous things, being fascinated by killing stuff since prison. Staying a kid for as long as possible is a privilege given to kids in developed societies. In this reality a Teenager grow up "faster" , ya sure their brain isn't mature to make good decisions but that's why jumped on the truck to begin with. In short he's an idiot but his action doesn't make sense despite that. He's action committed he have to follow through. He surely learned this in countless zombie killings that you can't hesitate of freeze when you manhandle a biting corpse while stabbing it in the head.

not sure if I already wrote this and I'm prolly one of the ppl who's more positive about this show than most ppl (which is, I think it's decent enough overall), but this was def the worst ep ever

Just saw a leaked script from next week, it's 120 minutes with Maggie at the Hilltop. She struggles to prove she should stay and mourns Glen, they debate whether she can stay. Negan finds a submarine.

Aaaand yet, you'd be right there, watching anyway.

We can hope , him finding a functional submarine and then suddenly out of his army a merry crew of ex navy ppl steps out and say they are gonna get that thing going. And they submerges in the sunset as season finale. Trailer for next season is them finding a underwater base for the most important ppl in the world waiting for the virus to selfdie. And they get rejected. New king of the world can't accept that.

Submarine show could deliver. Actual show is submarining.

Submarine would be the WOAT place in the zombie apocalypse.

it's also beyond carls own death tho re: repercussions, he doesn't know if killing negan will really do anything, who's to say he isn't signing death certificates for everyone back in alexandria, he can't possibly know how deep loyalties really lie in negans camp or if they are just really scared and waiting for an opp to jump ship, but like zod said i dont even know why im bothering, it's pointless nitpicking considering everything else wrong with the show

I just remembered Videogum Guy. Apparently it's Stereogum Guy now. Anyway, it made me realize how weak I am for still watching this show, while our great leader rightfully jumped ship after the second season.
