There is nothing that can make a noise that loud, especially in this world. Great episode though!

I wanna catch up with this, but I don't know the season or ep that I stopped and I'm afraid to Google and find spoilers. I think the last ep that I watched was the one the governor attacked the prison with the minivan. does anyone know what episode that is from?

You know, I put a dollar in, I got a car. I put a dollar in, I got a car. I put a dollar in, I got a car. I put a dollar in, I got a zombie to eat my face off.

Thought this was a pretty darn good start to the season. Enjoyed the whole B&W time-jumping style.

Where are all the haters and plot nits to lol at this ep?

Actually thought it was pretty good and agree the B&W was used well

I enjoyed it too. Can we speculate about where the plot is going in here?

Can we talk about "next week on"?

I haven't watched since the season 5 mid season break. I'm wondering if all the other haters also finally stopped watching.

Not terrible, although 90 minutes seemed a bit padded.

Nitpicking-wise, how about taking the muffler off the car, or leaning on the horn if the goal is to lure them with sound? And flare guns aren't exactly a valued commodity in a dystopian world, so we're to believe Alexandria just had several of them lying around, and enough for several guns able to be shot more than a dozen times? I'm willing to give them a little rope based on the whole "Alexandria has everything!" idea, but they've stretched it before and seem to be pushing it even more with there being a bunch more residents to deal with.

Wow. Who cares about the flare guns?

The goal isn't to lure the walkers with sound, it is to lead them, Pied Piper style, exactly where Rick's crew wants them to go. The lures - Daryl, Sasha, and Abraham specifically, though the others when necessary - had to be visible so that the walkers would file behind them properly. With just sound, it would likely not be as exact of an operation.

Plus, I think the engine noise from both vehicles is enough to keep the attention of the front wave of walkers and then the rest follow behind.

Now, of course, we don't know if laying on the car horn would have countered the distant horn that drew the horde off the road, but I'm guessing it likely wouldn't have done enough.

Clearly it was an imperfect plan, though I'm not surprised they didn't account for a random horn blaring from town.

Lol TWD nits arriving!

1:
"who are you?"
"I'm a guy that lives here I've just been mysteriously gone for the last couple week so can you open your gate and I'll promise not to kill you?"
"Ok"

2: the entire zombie luring plan is pretty stupid. You have a massive natural defense right in front of your town and your plan is to...get rid of it? Far better plan would be to start a massive fire in the zombie horde killing them all. Then you could bait the quarry to start collecting again. That's probably a whole lot simpler and safer than their plan to lead the zombies south by Southwest on route 85 and assuming they'll never turn back around.

They need to make bows/arrows and learn archery. Best stealthy way to pick them off since you dont make any sound. Or just make an infinite bolt supply for daryl and have him pick them off everyday.

Daryl could easily kill 100 in a couple of hours.

I liked the episode too, but here is some nittery: either the zombies need to eat, or they don't. If they need to eat, how are so many of them walking around in the pit after what has to be at least a year for most of them? If they don't need to eat, then shouldn't the most successful zombies be turning into some kind of massive super zombies after eating all this meat that is not being used as an energy source?

I don't think they *need* to eat to survive, they just want to eat. these sorts of physiological questions can't really have an answer of course, you just need to hope the writers stay consistent with the rules for how this universe works

Whether they say it in the show or not, I don't think walkers are possible without magic or some change to the laws of science that appears to be magic to us.

It would be an awesome troll if the entire season were just the car slowly leading the zombies to some endpoint like a cliff that they don't get to until the finale.
