As far as what characters are in the pool, I'd say every character with exception to the randoms in Woodbury.

Saw the Merle cameo in the S2 marathon last night. Since I missed s1, that was the first sight of Merle for me. Not knowing who he was, I thought he was a Lost talking ghost and I wanted to see his episodes. Figures, they use him as the subplot of one more season only before relegating him to Daryl's talking conscience [aka Lost 2.0].

I predicted Morgan would return for the finale and I still think that's possible.

However, if he does, it better not get ruined with the 'Previously on The Walking Dead' segment. Ala Merle's return and Morgan's return.

I gotta say hats off to the special effects guys when daryl was repeatedly stabbing zombie merle in the face. Fantastic shock tv. Sometimes you don't even get that level of realism in blockbuster movies.
This is one hell of a show.

There was a 4th that originally said they were in and I though Randal said he wanted to cap it at 4 but I'm not sure. I was thinking just do a snake style draft. Most kills wins, and any randoms from Woodbury are off limits.
