Haven't mentioned him since the beginning of the first episode. Go to Fort Benning? Same deal, nothing since a single line of dialogue 4 episodes ago. It can't be "stay alive in a zombie hellscape" because it seems clear that unless you crash their high school parking lot ZOMBIE PARTAY the zombies are pretty laid back about trying to eat you. Glen and whatsherface went into town unarmed and ****ed on the floor of a CVS.
can someone clarify what the secret was, i must have missed it.

The CDC doctor whispers a secret to Rick after the blood tests, then Rick tells his walkie-talkie "he told me... well, it doesn't matter what he told me" and now Rick's wife is pregnant. Lori being pregnant is what the CDC doctor told Rick.

I believe miajag called her pregnancy in the Season 1 thread after the whispered secret scene, though it's possible that plotline is from the comics.

Yeah that was weird we know the farmhouse has a nice modern bathroom, they let Shane shave his head in there, I think they'd let her pee.

I can't take it anymore, I went to wikipedia and read the whole summary of all of the comics in the series. I'm like a crack addict reading up on crack and can't wait till my next fix.

If anyone can .gif those moments, I'm pretty sure they would be LOL.
In addition to just the sheer idiocy of what they were doing, the "physics" of that whole scene are mind bottling.

And the whole super secret "reveal" that Lori asked for a pregnancy test was so TV. In real life she have just told the kid "Hey, get me a home pregnancy test if they have them" you wouldn't have to write it down and explain everything, as anyone over the age of like 14 knows wtf they are and where to find them.

Yeah they spent the entire episode without weapons, and the house is apparently zombie free apart from the well incident, when they showed the knife I thought for a second she was going to hurt someone. Then it clued in, oh right, there are zombies, maybe it is for protection since the doctor banned guns.

I thought it was actually possible that she was asking for a abortion pill or something and gave Glen the chemical name, because that would sort of make sense. But instead she wrote like "True Blue(don't read the rest of the box)" or something? And expected that plan to work? And the writers thought that was an effective way of building tension?

Seriously, you can have exactly the same combination of scenes a million times better by having her go to the random farm woman and whisper something to her, then later we get the reveal it was a pregnancy test. Instead we get this whole cloak and dagger routine which only made everyone involved look ******ed.

Given the pacing of the show, we won't have to concern ourselves with the wifey's pregnancy until season 11 when she starts to show a little bit.

This is going to sound a little nitty, and it is, but it's such a TV thing to do.

So old guy sees the zombie down in the well and in real life what you'd do in this situation is immediately yell to the black dude "HEY DON'T DRINK THE WATER THERE'S A ZOMBIE IN THE WELL!"

But instead, he quietly walks over from the well to the pump where the black guy is and stops him physically from drinking it and then says "I wouldn't drink that if i were you."

I know this is done for dramatic effect and a ton of tv shows do this stuff, but it just irritates me.

I love how all the sudden they are worried about contamination, they'd been rolling around in zombie goo with no protection the entire series and haven't really been too worried about it.

edit: reading through the facebook comments. A lot of people are pissed at the way the show is going.

Holy ****, 4 episodes have covered something like 3 days. At 16 episodes per season we are looking at something like 15 years of pregnancy.

Yes! I had to rewind this scene cause I was just in awe at how terrible it was. It was like they didn't tell the actors how fast to pull him up. They start with the whole group just struggling to hold Glenn up. And then it turns into Shane basically single handidly speed pulling the rope as if there's only a 5# weight attached. All this time Glenn is moving up slower than a turtle.

Also in the well scene, the last shot of Glenn getting pulled up shows that he clearly hadn't roped the zombie yet. This means that he must've roped the zombie when he was near the very top of the well. So there really was no reason to lower Glenn in at all.

They don't follow directions ldo, ever watch cops? Racist show is racist etc.

On a serious note, I really liked the way the zombie ripped in half. After weeks of no real action, it was awesome to see blood and guts.

I also spent the majority of the show with the "car parts up his anus" line stuck in head.

yea but a lot of people are just now realizing it, and keep harping back to "how awesome" season 1 was, when in reality it was a cinematic isolation based pilot which sold the show, and 5 episodes that if you go back and watch are probably only slightly better than the crap we're watching now.

everytime i read this thread i feel like i get stronger like the emperor in star wars. the hate is amazing, i love it

+ 1

I sat in bed, mouth agape, rubbing my eyes in disbelief.

"We need live bait." Lol

why on earth Glenn would agree to such an idiotic idea is beyond me. And of course it plays out just as we expect, there's really no suspense when we know that the character is no real danger.

Oh and what up at first needing a horse, shane, t dog, and the others to struggle to lift him up then have Shane single handedly lift him up? Does not compute.

Unreal
