I mean, how did they die? If they were killed by zombies they should be all eaten or renimated. Nobody is gonna starve to death sitting calming in their car. Suicide is the only thing that makes any sense, or people who were infected and died from the virus but for some reason or another didn't reanimate.
My thoughts that they were people that were infected and were trying to get to where ever and died and turned into zombies and were stuck in their cars.

Zombies don't know how to open car doors IIRC.

I don't think it was anywhere near as bad as episodes #2-6 but it was still pretty bad.

All my complaints have already been stated in ITT. Characters being morons. Massive inconsistencies. Boring plot. etc...

This should would improve by %500 if they brought back black dude from the first episode.

Very very bad. I was hoping the deer was going to attack the kid. Also, was hoping for an acknowledgment that Jesus was a zombie.

I thought that fresher zombies were quicker. Shouldn't they all be pretty slow by now?

I mean, they had those guys hack up a zombie and wear zombie guts because humans smell like, well, humans
I can live with the idea that the writers have decided to change the "rules" to zombies can't smell people. What I don't understand is how the redneck covered himself and the black dude so the zombies wouldn't smell them. Changing rules from season to season is frustrating, but doing it in the same episode is lol.

The title shot of the series that came again this episode (where the interstate is completely jammed leaving Atlanta while the side that enters Atlanta stays empty) will always tilt me. In hurricanes and other evacuations they reverse the flow of traffic on the side going into a city. They sure as hell would do this in a zombie apocalypse. But thats a minor nitpick and the shot is obviously done for dramatic effect.

This show needs to get moving on the major plot arc. Having the season premiere be basically a filler episode was really a let down.

I'm not sure how I feel about this grave robbing either, you dumb bitch.

Just one of the kids be dead. total longshot, but please.

I was really enjoying the moment of clarity where the boy was about to make love to the deer, what a shame.

It would be interesting to see what this show would be like if it made sense and if more than 1 other character wasn't completely mentally ******ed.

Why are they hiding under cars? Why are there dead people in said cars? Why are people who are supposed to be fighting for their survival from an apocalypse having qualms about taking supplies from the dead?

Why can the zombies no longer smell humans? Did the writers forget?

Why are they taking the kid out into the forest with them in the first place?

So many loopholes and so many commercials and so much epic ******ation on account of 90% of the characters it's hard to keep watching.

Yeah I always laugh when they show that scene. I imagine the people sitting in bumper to bumper traffic as the zombie apocalypse is happening, debating whether to drive on the wrong side of the freeway, but ultimately deciding it's not worth the risk of getting a ticket.

With a zombie show it's a given that there will be some inconsistencies, etc but this show somehow manages to be incredibly unrealistic even for this genre.

This show is a ****ing insult to zombies, I can't believe fans out there love this ****. I want to blast every twitter idiot out there "omg BEST SHOW EVVVEERRRRR" **** off!

I can't believe they wasted our time again. AMC is trying so hard to copy Lost's formula it's embarrassing.

PVR future recordings removed, will continue to read (and only READ) thread to lol at the comments because that was by far the most entertaining part of this show

i actually said to my girlfriend that if the deer started talking and became the group companion, the show would be better. also i basically hoped almost everyone would die whenever any slight chance came up.

and i tilted super hard when we had to see jesus again. why?

I was 100% legitimately expecting the deer to talk during that scene. I have no idea why.

Thinking back on it though, it's pretty hilarious.

lol they're not bloodhounds, in episode 2 they were bumping into them. But what I couldn't find consistent is that they were incredibly careful about not getting blood on them in that episode, yet in this one that chick stabs one in the eye and gets it all over her face while screaming. :\

Ya that didn't make any sense either. The reason I bring up the smell is because I vaguely remember a scene from season 1 where they wore suits of dead/rotting flesh in order to walk down a street full of zombies undetected. It may have been when they picked up the guns ( I remember a city bus?). Or it could be something else entirely. I dunno.

But, if I'm right and they did do that in season 1, then that implies that either:

a) zombies can smell fresh human flesh and are attracted to the smell.

or

b) zombies are used to the dead/rotting flesh of other zombies and will notice other things that don't smell like them if they were to walk amongst them.

If it's B then I can dig it ( even though it's kinda stretching) but if it's A...

yes, clearly based on last season they can smell living flesh. i got the feeling the writers realized that inconsistency and threw in the guy cutting himself and bleeding everywhere to justify it. then after they decided on that they realized, "hey this is a great time for a feel good moment between the black dude and merle's brother!"

Yeah I referred to the guts thing in my post, in that episode they were walking amongst them and bumping into them, not trying to hide from them. I think it's still very dumb and poor writing but meh, it's excusable I guess.

Why would you use the elderly guy who probably has the worst eyesight of the group on top of the RV with binocs as your lookout?

Also, lol, I f'ing told you people this series sucked and was full of inconsistant plot holes and ******ed actions by the characters.

Dumb inconsistencies aside--and there were a bunch already covered ITT--I think I actually liked the episode. Wish it didn't leave off on a double-cliffhanger but I definitely didn't hate it.

Or maybe just about everything else on TV sucks more. I don't know for sure but I'll watch again.

but I think it's fair to say these characters' actions seem pretty consistent with a group of people doing everything they can to get themselves eaten by zombies
