Re: The Walking Dead Season 2 (Premieres Sunday 10/16 at 9PM ET on AMC)
So many idiotic plot points in one episode to get to.
Loved the direct reference to Dale Face in Rick's speech.
Huge idiotic moment #1: You got 2 guys out actively searching for someone, both fully armed. They spot the guy, so they know he's there, he has no idea they are there. Somehow he gets the jump on them both. Uh, wtf? How is that even possible. Manufactured zombie drama ftl.
Huge idiotic moment #2: After WEEKS of the farm being magical, like so magical they are sleeping outside in TENTS and stuff, after hundreds upon hundreds of gun shots being fired around the area, now all the sudden a huge pack of zombies a few hundred yards away is attracted by a single gun shot and descending on the farm house.... which they oh so conveintly decided to secure this episode.
Other inconsistences: Carl all upset and guilty he was unable to kill the zombie, ok... "I'll never touch a gun again!" uh that is the opposite reaction, the gun was your ticket to doing the right thing, why the aversion to it? If anything wouldn't you swear to be ready with it next time.
Two episodes ago Lori is going out of her way to poison Rick against Shane, saying how dangerous and possessive he was of her, and since then he and Rick have had a fun massive fight almost to the death, and now she's going to buddy up to him? Isn't sending him mixed signals the worst thing you can do?

Lori has no responsibilities whatsoever but she lets her only child wander off farm into the darkness with a loaded handgun. She's really more of a Lady MacMeth.

So you expect the kid to act 100% rationally.... it seems your expectations do not align with him being a child...

Carl is free to roam around at night, way away from the farm, even when everyone thinks there is an armed, dangerous escaped prisoner out there, not to mention one of your crew was killed by a wandering zombie at night on the farm like a day or two ago.

The Carl thing really is retarded, assume that allt he adults, including his own mother, are indeed that negligant.
Why would he even WANT to roam around? Doesn't this kid know fear? He's what like 8? When I was 8 I was scared of tons of crap, almost all of it bogus. But this kid lives in zombie universe, after everything that's happened I would want to spend all day locked in closet in the house and would scream like a bitch if someone said I had to leave the house.

So because he wouldn't handle it like you it is completely Bogus?...... i grew up with plenty of kids that were far too brave/stupid for what they could actually handle
