Not the usual laugh a minute fest, but still solid. Loved all the stuff Mike was screaming when they were smashing up the barn.

great episode...lots of great one-liners...really liking Jonah's fiancee!

My favorite sight gag of the year was the little Sudanese boy wearing a Jonah Ryan t-shirt.

No, I think that was Jon H. Ryan.

Series finale: Jonah makes an unlikely run for president and wins! However, due to a sexism row his VP drops out. Searching for a female replacement to quell the storm he selects ... Selina Meyer who, desperate, accepts. The final scene is a bookend to the opening scene of the series.

I also like Jonah's fiancee and her "Bent" nickname for Ben and Kent.

"It's only the second floor, I can't even jump out from here to commit suicide."
"I have a key to the roof, we could do a Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid."
"Nah, I'll just wait for cancer."

Again an enjoyable episode overall, but I'm more of a fan of when the mine humor from somewhat less contrived and outlandish situations. Of course they need hyperbole, but this was a bit over the top for me.

The Rough Riders.

I think the show is suffering from too large of a cast and trying to get each of them time during the episodes - a noble goal but not ideal in terms of end results since only a few characters (Kent, Richard) are just as good in small doses. The episode itself was fairly solid - I'm surprised there's not more love for the morning show stuff. There's some spot on humor there.

wow, what an episode....line after line was pure gold. Just amazing how the juggled all of the story lines. Amy finally got in some good ones.

But my favorite was Catherine and Marjorie at breakfast:

Catherine - "We should be going because we're doing a 'herstorical' tour of great Southern female writers."
Marjorie - "And where they killed themselves."

OMFG that's both horrible and hilarious.

They could spin off Jean Smart and Stephen Root as Gary's parents immediately.

Jonah's meeting with the President was epic.

So much amazing Jonahness. Is she foreign? No, just Jewish. Hammering the foot. I could go on and on.

Even now weeks later whenever I go somewhere to eat I resist the urge to ask the waitstaff "what do you have that's like Spaghetti-Os?"

Just want to give this show some love on here.

For some reason when season 4 came out I didn't pick it back up and never got around to catching up until a couple weeks ago. Just wow. So many shows it seems start with a good premise but lose their edge for whatever reason/s, but this thing never falters.

I used to think the concept was pretty ridiculous and it is on the surface but they commit to it and write great comedy on many levels line after line. Awesome show.

Great one. If you'd of asked me before the episode, I'd of put a lot of money on Stephen Root having already been on the show. I could have sworn I remember him on it.

I'd say the only downside of this season is that we're missing out on certain combinations of characters that were there when they were all one big group. The writing is so good though, it doesn't really matter.
