don't remember where it took place but I believe it was the very first time she broke down and you saw her for a little bit as she went to adjust the camera or something.
it's not a big deal, this is my absolute favorite comedy on TV just think she is the weak link.
and that's not even a huge knock on her as being the least talented among a bunch of insanely talented ppl isn't so bad.
it's like being the worst player on an all star team.
I had soooo many issues with the doc, but there's no denying it was hilarious. Jonah and Richard are comedic gold. Huge laughs with the elementary class, and Richard crashing the car.
Gary's meltdown and Selina saying "Oh my God, I hope I didn't f*** Richard!" were so good. Great ending to a great season. Really wonder what happens next.
I don't think there would be an inauguration. The incoming lady wouldn't be president, she'd be acting president. The House could at any time hold another vote and choose between Selina and what's his name. Furthermore, she can't pick a VP, because she IS Vice President.
That was excellent and would be ever more excellent if it was a surprise series finale. I presume season 6 is the final one, hard to see how they spin it out more than a few more episodes without it being really forced.
In the doc episode, there was a great subtle joke I noticed the second time around. We know that Jonad's got issues getting to the vote. We know that Michigan was asked to stall. What I didn't notice the first time was the clock in the upper right hand corner of the screen. When I noticed it the second time I watched it, I rewound and realized that Michigan's vote stall started at 10:11am, and was wrapping up I think around 10:57am (can't remember the exact time in the second shot). Really nicely done, and hilarious to notice.
I also agree with Rendle that it was a big surprise the show stayed so high quality after the departure of Iannucci. That's a real testament to the writing staff of the show.
What does season six look like? They could do a quasi-reboot focused on the new POTUS (who would still interact with Sue, Jonah/Richard and a couple of others) & in fact they did something kinda but not really similar in the British version when the actor who played the Selina character was arrested on child porn charges.
But ... if the focus on Selina, and it's likely they will, how do they keep all the crew together? Selina runs a foundation and has to beg Catherine for money. Gary is still her bag man. The storyline necessitates her interacting with POTUS which brings in Sue ("Has the President read my email?" "No") but how do they bring in Dan, Mike, Kent etc? POTUS appoints Selina as her Middle East peace negotiator (Nobel prize!) & Selina hires her old crew?
A subtle implication was that the new President might not be born in the U.S. I'm not sure what that would mean for the show. The whole season could be constitutional wrangling, for all we know, trying to get a new vote in between her and O'Brien. Somewhere buried in procedures (even though SK says this scenario could never happen in real life) would have to be something to get around what happened inside the show's universe. They've rigged this up for comedy, not reality, so who knows what might happen? Maybe Mike actually saves the day.

I can't see them going away from a JLD based show. Granted, I would have set the odds at what her job at the end of this season as
Veep>>>>>>POTUS>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>nothi ng
They'll obviously start out scattered to the winds, then come together for some reason. Given that the English writers seem to have no grasp of the USA#1 written Constitution it is impossible to predict what they'll come up with.
Last line in the credits was the crazy guy saying they found a batch of votes to the new president for Selina in Nevada so that's probably the most live option to continue.
