Anyone else going to be watching this? I gather the premise revolves around the rivalrly between Connie Britton who plays an aging country star trying to hold on to her handle on the country music scene, and Hayden Panettiere who plays a slutty pop-country crossover artist who everyone loves and is taking over the scene with her music.
Hayden is hot, she is showing some good cleave in the trailer, it's about country music, I will watch this and hopefully it is good.
I don't like country music but gave the show a try for Powers Boothe and Connie Britton. It was well done. Set the theme of the show nicely and didn't have anything really annoying like most new shows. Hayden was pretty sexy. I'll watch the next episode.
I liked it, but Connie is delusional. That bothers me. It also bothers me that she and her guitar player clearly love each other, while she and her husband...not so much. How does this happen?
Boothe is evil.
Hayden is a bitch...but I still liked her. She's broken. Maybe she can be fixed.
All these love triangles are going to be frustrating.
The only thing that bothered me was that the guys all looked alike to me. The husband, the band leader and the Producer - I had so much trouble figuring out who was who.
The duet at the end was incredible. Pilot was not bad, but I'm not sure this series has much upside.

Have you seen The Thing Called Love, in which the Bluebird features prominently? I really like that movie, especially Samantha Mathis at her most adorable.
It was ok; the fact that I like country music and thought the music was pretty good might be the only thing that will keep me watching. My wife detests country music, and I think she's out.
I thought it was okay. I'll at least give it a few episodes as I like the premise and music. It's gonna be super soapy though which is okay I guess if its done well. I quit liking Revenge because it got too soapy in a way that takes itself too seriously but this looks like it might be a fun soapy like Dallas. Time will tell.
Watched episode two will be shocked if this gets a second season
Originally I thought this statement was off
