very stoked for this, esp after Woody's performance in out of the furnace, which was an outstanding turn in a mediocre movie.

also McConaughey has grown on me with his performance in killer joe + mud.

have very high hopes for this show, expect nothing less then continued greatness from the GOAT channel.

I've read that this will be more like a miniseries, so Woody and McConaughey are only going to be in the first season. That's a bit disappointing, but either way, the trailers for this have been so strong that I'll definitely be watching.

Does look good. I love TV deep south stuff for some reason. Rednecks, moonshine, houses on stilts, an abundance of rifles. Something about laid back people who dont take any ****

McConaughey is one of those actors I can never see as whatever character he's playing, he's just always Matthew McConaughey. I'll still probably tune in tho.

Because of this, on another network I would be worried about the awesomeness of the show going forward after season one. But on HBO, I bet they can pull top list talent season after season.

damn! sick trailer. those guys are great actors. i was lucky enough to see woody on stage with sean penn, nick nolte, and james gammon. the play was kinda crappy, but the acting was amazing.
