Heather's got to be worse. Sarah's kinda unaware and immature, but seems basically nice. Heather's just a horrible person.

While I agree with the opinion that Korean food isn't very ubiquitous, I also think that there is a very strong cultural bias to dishes from certain nationalities.

For example, Risotto and Paella is seen as being more skillful than fried rice when I'm not sure that is the case.

Yeah, really good fried rice is actually very hard to do, but the judges seem to be aware of that as they were quite impressed with Bev using the wok to make her noodle dish. Even that I was surprised with that she would even take that risk of using crappy stovetop woks....

A lot of well done Chinese food like fried rice just can't be done without those super high powered wok burners. People serious about doing that stuff at home usually use a turkey fryer outdoors for wok'ing.

TC Canada season 2 starts tonite. S1 was great, so this should be at least good.
