Chris acting as though there was a meaningful difference between dark meat and white meat in chicken salad, Ed trimming all the fat and flavor from his short ribs even though it looked like he was serving a tiny little piece anyways, just dumb.

couple of minor updates from my neck of the woods: cj from season 3 had a cruddy restaurant in santa monica that served basic gastropub fare. he would come out to the tables to chat and was a friendly guy, but the restaurant was just meh. douchenozzle ilan opened a scottish-jewish-russian restaurant in downtown la. from what i've heard, it's almost as bad as it sounds.

people on shows like this never defend themselves well. they always say inane crap like "i want this soooooo bad." i was proud of her.

Ed - I think this guy may just be phoning it in at this point. I'm still a big fan, he's hilarious imo

haha, agreed. i think he's solidly behind paul, lindsay and pigsnout now, but i still hope he wins.
re: the main challenge this episode, i hated that they didn't have stricter parameters on what made something healthy. in previous seasons, they imposed calorie counts on similar challenges. they should have done so here. it was too easy to angleshoot and bull**** the way to victory. i couldn't tell for sure, but paul's turkey kalbi looked like it was battered and deep fat fried ffs, and he used eggplant which is more often than not cooked with a ton of fat.
