I love Tony too and am sad to see him gone early, but do you all not remember he alpha'ed his way through his whole season and totally would have out-ego'ed Sandra in TC if she got booted?

All stars seasons start with so much excitement when you think all of the possible ways the season can go. Sad to see we have to remove all the branches that include Tony from the game tree. Those were the most exciting ones. The deeper Sandra, Sierra, Haili, Debbie, Caleb and Tai go the worse the season becomes imo.

Also what happened to the anyone but me strategy? I don't like Sandra but if she makes good tv going out guns blazing I wouldn't mind seeing her stay around for a while.

She won twice. You do not respect her play, but sure seemed like the actual experienced players out there do respect her play. I will take her past results along with experienced players' outlook of her over those butthurt about her on poker forums.

The Queen is still the Queen. Hopefully Tony said Hi to Cierra for her.

All the best.

That certainly explains his vote for Aubry. Baller. At least he got someone else to join him with that vote. Kind of...

Well at least he was still ****** awesome for those two episodes. I have to give Sandra credit for getting people on board, but I think anyone who sticks their neck out early this season is going to be toast.

Think it might be time for Cirie to retire from playing. Awesome player in her first two seasons but no one ever trusts her now.

Yeah it's so sad to see how some players just don't have a shot. I'm not a huge Cirie fan but she definitely crushed her seasons and it's painful to watch her trying to make something happen.

He messed up by aggressively confronting Troyzan at night. He should have waited until later and if Sandra told him the truth he could work with her like he started off talking about.

How he played this time was exactly what I thought the train wreck was going to be last time, but that was with inexperienced players who didn't know strategy. His first episode in Cayagan made me think he was another Philip.

So disappointing to see Tony go this early but it was inevitable really. The whole reason for bringing Sarah Lacina back won't play out now either.

The editing of the second boot kinda sucked as well. There was just too much of a black hole in attempt to surprise the viewer. Tony voting for Aubry, Malcolm and Caleb both voting for Tony. All the over the top "I'm voting to stay strong" comments overwhelming pointing to Sandra was too fishy but it seems we just missed an afternoon of conversations. Typically we get at least someone saying "I don't know if I'll go A or B", holding the cards close to their chest, not just the blatant lying we got here.

Rooting for "Shi-rie" whose position is also looking tenuous but "next time on Survivor"...

loooooooooooooooooooool 'didn't work out for him'
He went way too hard, too early. Sucks to see him go though.

Wait, what the ****? Sandra voted for Aubry

So am I understanding Tony's second tribal vote as being "I think there's a good chance they're splitting the vote here, and if so, they're targeting me and her, so, I should vote for her in case that tips the scales?" It seems he must have been aware that he didn't have the numbers to take Sandra down.

Likewise then, was Sandra's vote because she felt verrrrry confident she had the numbers, but was fearful Tony had an idol -- meaning if he does, she doesn't want the vote to go 1 vote Sandra, all other votes blocked by an idol, and Sandra goes home? Or was it simply a move to create a bit of paranoia in Tony's preceived-to-be main ally?

Next week she can ask someone to say hi to Tony for her.

Well yeah he realized he couldnt get her and had to go elsewhere but he did the only thing a guy with as big a target as himself could do - go at the other player with a big target that he correctly snuffed out as gunning for him. He played it correctly, but it appears he didnt have a real chance. Too big a target.

I'm super bummed that Tony got voted out but I don't think it was an incorrect move for anyone. Having Sandra take credit is also fantastic for everyone else as well. I do hope that someone like Malcolm realised that separating into three tribes at 18 was a likely probability and removing a strong challenge player like Tony instead of the weakest challenge competitor, Sandra, is the correct strategy.

She def voted Aubry to block a potential idol

One of the first things he did while out there was sing about how it was time to look for an idol then he ran away to dig a silly hole.

I enjoyed Tony during his year, and he certainly is among the most entertaining players they have had, but the target on him was a large part due to how he went out to play the game this year. He played it to entertain the cameras, and keep his character going. That's playing it as far from perfect as possible in his situation.

Was he was doomed no matter what? Probably not, but maybe, and believing he played it perfectly is certainly a stretch, although most Sandra seasons or debates end up being how a two time winner plays badly and someone out the first episode plays great.

There is also the distinct possibility that Sandra has become much better at the game since her last time. In the last seven years she has spent a lot of time dissecting Survivor on podcasts with other players and has probably spent many many hours thinking about how to play the next time. She's so far doing well to leverage her reputation and had the advantage of being perceived as a more honest and less erratic player than Tony. The moves she made this time were very proactive and much more forceful.

I don't think she survives the next phase of the game without a lot of run good as the new Nuku tribe is made up of JT, Malcolm, Jeff, Aubry, Michaela and Sandra. If they lose a challenge it would be ridiculous of them to vote out JT given how weak Sandra and Jeff are.
