Jeff tried to explain that rule but still makes no sense. So would Troyzan of not voted until the live show 6 months after filming after he has seen the edited show on tv? Or are they doing it at the end of the actual vote and the cast will know it was a tie.

I'm pretty sure there are tons of moves like this in Survivor's history. Colby taking Tina over a guy that everyone hated was a worse decision.

Probst is such a prick though. Does he really have to continue to rub salt in the wound and tell the guy that he will forever regret that decision? Probst just shut your mouth for once in your life ****. Uh well they say they would vote for you Brad and I trust them because they are honest and all heh heh. If I heard that stupidity spew out of his mouth I'd backhand that ***** nasty. Probst, nobody knows how they would have actually voted. Several of those cowards that raised their hand for Brad probably would have voted for Tai so don't get it twisted.

I'm glad Sara won though because she was the only reasonable choice considering most of the good players were knocked out early.

Next season may sound stupid but that is just a gimic. What matters are the characters and the interaction and the gameplay. If those are good then the season will be good regardless.

Only thing that could have saved the season would have been if Varner had told Probst to eff off on live TV. Alas, it was not to be.

When Zeke was campaigning for Sarah, on the basis of her driving all the votes, I thought to myself that if I were Brad I would challenge him on Sarah making poor selections multiple times. Then I thought about how the jury would view such precise EV calculations as trifling in the grand scheme of things and that they would see me for the computerized weirdo I really am and vote for someone (anyone!) else.

Later it occurred to me that the ability to care deeply about precise EV calculations would have led me to voting out Sarah at F4 and never being in that situation in the first place.

Sarah played well. Brad was goating down the stretch but crumbled at the social game in the final few days.

Brad had a choice ... Tai or Sarah. Ooops

so i have 10 pts for sarah he has 8 for brad/troy.

i have zeke, michaela, hali, and sierra for 4 pts

he has cirrie, aubry, andrea, tia, debbie, ozzy. for 6 pts.

we ended up 14 points each with me winning on the tiebreaker. also lol at our us making the worst possible picks.

I liked that change to FTC. It clearly showed why Sarah won and Brad lost. It also showed the logical v emotional thinking from the jury members.

Brad joins the Colby/Woo/Russell group in choosing the wrong person to sit with. Kinda hilarious how him and Monica both make the finals and lose.

Did Probst really get Varner to pimp his book? Seems pretty unnecessary given what happened.

Definitely felt like a bottom-third season to me.

Players that I enjoyed playing and (not to underestimate) narrate the season got voted out too early.
Cirie getting booted without a vote was lame premise, I'd preferred some kind of new scenario in that situation with a new vote, a quick challenge or even a draw of rocks.

If she had at least one vote, I would've been fine with it, this way it just felt against what the essence of the game.

I also didn't enjoy the open discussion tribal council at all.


Gimmick title for the new season doesn't look too good on paper, let's hope the casting didn't suffer due to filling spots for this particular random selection.

Are Tony + Sarah the greatest pair to win? I would say yes based on their winning seasons, although there a couple that are very close, possibly JT + Tyson is the closest. Yul + Parvati, Sophie + Cochran and Natalie A. + Jeremy were solid as well. Tina + Amber is nowhere close, and Vecepia drags down B. Rob too much
