Okay, so I dozed off during the premiere which didn't seem to bode well for the season, but I thought epi 2 was better. I'm just having a hard time finding anyone to really root for. I thought I'd like Mari and she got axed. sigh

I thought for a minute that Paul (heretofore referred to as "Senior" for multiple reasons) was going to be in like a lion and out like a lamb. Glad he stuck around for a potentially more explosive exit.

These millennial dudes are just...{furrowed brow}...the men in general on this season seem really lackluster. Is the real theme of the season @$$holes and douches?

So did this Michelle chick actually pluck another just in case vote out of the air at tribal council AFTER somehow turning enough pre-council votes to accomplish her goal despite the fact that Michaela had a fairly significant hate-on for Figgy and Will seemed pretty on board for voting Figgy out as well. And how did Figgy get credit for it? I think someone turned to Figgy and said well done and she tossed her hair like...natch. When it was this Pavarti 2.0 chick instead. When she first started going on about how voting out Figgy wasn't going to work for her and she needed those numbers, I thought she was talking out her ass. Next thing you know, she has all these votes aimed at Mari--who was actually a great person to be taking out.

I mean, I went from this season seems meh to wha? in the space of 15 minutes. It galls me to be on team beautiful people, but this Michelle character has my attention.

Also, it's pretty impressive that this Taylor moron has these incredible eyes and a nice body and barely manages to be somewhat attractive. Balances out his package with a donkey bray laugh and Fabio's intellect.

Way this^. Jay would have just let it happen it if wasn't for Michelle. He did fine once she pointed him in the right direction.

I like how Michelle noticed that Hannah was kind of separated from the herd with her positioning next to she and Jay where she could whisper her inveiglements in her ear without detection.

I was watching with my wife last night and wondered aloud how it was possible this missionary was so good at convincing people to do what she wants. Wife looks me straight in the eye and says "she convinces grown men and women, against their better judgement, that there is an invisible man in the sky that watches their every move and decides whether they end up spending eternity in hell or heaven based on rules from a book written by desert dwelling goat herders 2000+ years ago. Bending a few spoiled 22 year olds to her will is going to be a piece of cake!"

i think they were clear in the opposite direction.
mari & hannah aligned with some misfits because they were already on the outs of a big group.
