SS cont..
i don't have an Achilles heel (RC): Her family is the most important thing to her. Not having that support will be tough. Lives in the same apartment building as her sister. Investment banking is cut throat...she is prepared for Survivor. Likes to be flirty, but also makes it known that she is not to be messed with. Huge fan of Survivor...has seen 24 seasons. She's an all or nothing type girl. Never been camping or even in nature...NY City girl. But she's tougher than the average bear. She's at home in the water. She doesn't think she has a weak spot--(that's probably her weak spot). She doesn't think of it as men vs. women, but she went to an all women's college, and she might look at the numbers and gather up the women and take out the men...because men always think they are in control, but they're not. She is not used to having down time, so that might be strange.
*WARNING* might want to skip this next one, Clovis
god knows who will win (roxy): She's a chaplin in the military. The purpose for a Chaplin is for morale...she plans to use that. She is well traveled. Chose God after college, wanted to use her leadership skills and chose the seminary. Also, from NYC. Jesus could live like a king, but he chose to put himself in a challenging spot...likewise Roxy has chosen to be on Survivor...she wishes all Christians could have this opportunity. Christianity is going to be in the game because Roxy is in the game. She wants to share her religion, but plans to be more tactful than ever before. She does not want to force her religion on anyone...not just to be nice...Christ is something one encounters and it has to be genuine...if it's not, she's just wasting her time. She's here to win the money, God can use her as a vessel, money is not to be worshiped, but it is a tool that can be used to do a lot of different things. She's here for the milly, if someone encounters Christ along the way, that's bonus. (I'm very interested in how this is going to turn out.)
I've dreamed about coming back (penner): 3rd time is gonna be the charm. He just turned 50 and this is the best present anyone could have given him. He had a blast his first time playing...scrambled a lot. His second time he was out to play a straighter game and prove that he was not the rat, the cancer, the bastard, that he was portrayed...didn't want to make the same mistakes that he made that would open the door for people to call him those names. (When I asked my mother in law if she remember Penner...she said, no...then I showed her his picture...she said...oh yeah, he was a jerk.) This time he is here for the milly. This is not play, it's his job. He thinks he had a win lined up last time he played...it was devastating to have that taken away from him. He dreamed about coming back for 4 years. He's so hungry for the win. His 50 days of playing Survivor gives him a leg up. It's his job to make his playing experience a blessing and not a curse. His Achilles heels are his reputation and his big mouth. He doesn't consider himself to be loud and abrasive, but he has been told that he is so he needs to keep that under control. He has to be nice. He doesn't need to call people out on stuff. If he does, he will win.
flirting is important (abi): Became an american citizen when she was 21 (she's 32 now). She's an entrepreneur. She adapts. She is social. She is going to be a positive influence in her tribe. Keep morale up. Charm everyone with her accent. Flirting is a big part of her game, but she is going to be mysterious about it so the other players don't feel threatened. She grew up on the farm, used to being outside and is in touch with the elements. She is fit...a samba dancer...she's very agile, fellas.
She wants to win a million dollars and double up this money and save the children in the world.
i'm hoping i can keep that quiet (jeff kent): His life is split into two parts, his baseball life and the rest. Being able to control his emotions is going to help him in the game. 1. He's a fan of the show. 2. He competes. This is a challenge. He eats at McDonald's and wears dirty underwear just like the rest of us. He doesn't need the fame or the million bucks, but he'd still like to be the sole Survivor. Being a former baseball player has some negative baggage than can hurt his game. Also looking forward to testing himself on the survivalist aspects of the game.
i hope they know me for me(non-blair): She probably doesn't approve of me calling her non-Blair. Had a 'child hood star' season of life. Then a 'stay at home mom' season. Then, stumbled into writing books. Now, she's sent her kids off to college. Last summer she went on a vision quest. When she got back, she found she had lost her job. She applied for Survivor and whalah. Loooongtime Survivor fan complete with Survivor parties. Homeschooled her kids. Doesn't embrace her former childhood star status. She loves sports and is very competitive by nature. God is changing her...she notices shifts in herself.
i will put delaware on the map (katie): 21 yrs old. Miss Delaware USA. Goal to become a delaware state trouper. Used to watch cops all the time. Lost 50 lbs before trying out for Miss Delaware. Awesome to be able to say that she is one of the prettiest girls in the country. Not too many people can say that. Said Delaware about 80 times. She has a lot of state pride. Survivor is going to help prepare her for the police academy. She intends to come in first in this game. Will do smart things with the money (but may not be interested in saving the children). She loves to eat...finally we have something in common. Did I mention, that she loves Delaware?
I'll be the black sheep (pete): He loves sports, outdoors, speed, and danger. He's a model, but also an engineer. He was studying engineering and decided that it sucks (been there). Used to be a hard core gamer. He's been a little bit of everything. He can relate to a lot of different types of people. He's the social chameleon. Hockey and lacrosse are his sports. He has fancy play syndrome. He wants to be making big moves all game. (It's problem.) This is his element. He gets to be away from civilization and live in the wild. He wants to let someone else be the shepherd while he is the black sheep. Sometimes he talks down to people, but he is definitely, probably, not going to do that (he is totally going to do that). Any chaos that he creates will be beneficial to him.
deceive and destroy (malcolm): Football scholarship at Dartmouth, taught elementary school kids in Micronesia, coasting for the past year and a half. Studied economics with a focus on game theory and corporate strategies playing against rival companies. Doesn't want to over think it, but when he is expecting people to act in their own best interests and they don't, he may flip out a bit. (I have to wonder if he's reading this right now. Malcolm, are you out there?) Hopes he is kept around for his athleticism early on. Trying not to come off as too strategic. He's out here to win the money. He's not here for spiritual growth. He lived in Micronesia for a year, so he's not unfamiliar with the elements. He doesn't want to tip his hand on the puzzle challenges early on. Hopes to find someone else to stick in that position. He has bartending and southern charm going for his social game. He went to school to learn how to deceive people and make calculated decisions to destroy people. He agrees with me that his ego could be his downfall. Fan of Survivor. His mom wanted him to get a real job, so he got drunk and made a Survivor audition tape. He's dreamed about playing since he was in 7th grade. He likes his chances. Don't spoil the season for us, Malcom, but do say hi when it's over.
a restaurant and a tow truck (zane): All the jobs he's had form together to make him the perfect Survivor player. Clearly, he is the greatest of all time. Whirlwind courtship with his wife. Just because someone has tattoos doesn't mean that he's a douche. His wife is the best southern cook in the world. He planned to buy a restaurant and a tow truck with his milly. He's from the country. Learning how to live IS surviving.
