If Colton doesn't get taken out we have to assume that Christina is the final pre merge boot.

I think at the time of the merge Jay, Mike and Troyzan were all happy with their NuSalani alliance. Other than Jay, Colton didn't have strong relationships with them and it would have taken a lot of convincing, especially for Mike to reform the men's alliance. Seeing the numbers I think Alicia would be happy rejoining as the 5th member of the women's alliance. Seeing Monica and Christina go home would clue the women into the fact he wasn't with them and that he was NuManano's power player. Everyone also knows he has the idol and Kim no doubt would lead the charge to see it flushed.

So in the hypothetical of Colton making the merge he has a lot of work to do in order to survive the first couple of boots. His best chance would be to correctly use the idol and take out Kim, who in exit interviews revealed he was planning to take to the final 4. After that it wouldn't take long for the women to see what a despicable human being he is and if he managed somehow to get to the F3 I think they would have given the money to any other person.

IMO Kim is as close to a stone-cold lock winner as is possible , although the "monsters under the bed"/"check the river with the second nuts" side of me still fears a bitter jury, which begs the only question that we should probably be arguing:

Which two players should Kim sit next to at FTC to maximize her equity?

My personal theory at this point is that Kim should sit next to two who would be the most butt-hurt and super-bitter - and who could influence Kat's vote towards bitterness the most - and those two are Alicia and Chelsea.

Christina and Sab seem to me like they will take it better and be able to keep it in perspective more.

I don't think Colton was hated by his cast nearly as much as Russell. The women weren't of his comments til they saw it on TV.

Keep it simple stupid. She should want to sit next to Christina & Alicia.

That may be the case for Christina but Sabrina explicably said that she would be bitter and likely vote based off of spite if she was booted during the episode when Kat was sent to the jury.

I think the Colton crowd is forgetting these people were going to have to live with the guy for another couple weeks. No way Colton makes it to FTC as anything other then a goat (like Russell :P).

I keep going back and forth on who Kim should bring with her (and really we just don't have enough info to know) but it seems clear she needs to get rid of Sab.

Everyone had already lived with Colton for a couple of weeks and they still didn't hate him. The only person we have seen say bad things about Colton is Monica, and she liked him on the show. She only hated him after she watched the show.

Yeah, I think she said it more as an open threat to Kim but it could have just as easily applied to Chelsea as well. Whom I think would actually be worried about said scenario. It at least is showing that Sabrina is self aware to know Kim/ Chelsea don't need to take her to final 3.
