I think if they foreshadowed a Kim-Alicia showdown, having Alicia talk about her end-game strategy before the episode before the finale there would have been more suspense to the second half of the season.
By the time Kim talked about the two sides within the Salani alliance it was a foregone conclusion to the viewers which side would win out and that Kim was the winner.
Not to mention how great it would be see more of Alicia talking about how great of a player she is before Kim out levels her.
Alicia wasn't the brilliant mastermind she made herself out to be during FTC. I am glad she didn't win, I really think that would have been the icing on the cake for a horrible season. She said alot of other things that didn't make the air.

It still drives me crazy... At that point of the game, how do these other players allow the most powerful player to also be the swing vote.... Crazy!!!... gg Kim...lol
Look, the show is heavily edited. We could have made Chelsea look like a swing vote, or Tarzan be the mastermind. It was put like that to enhance Kims game to the viewers. The F3 was predetermined after Tarzan went home.

I would be curious as to which contestant over the years would be considered the biggest surprise in a good way (my guess would be Cirie) and which was the biggest disappointment.
Also, who would be considered the best contestant for the show (in terms of ratings/watchability). Russel or Boston ROb would come to mind here.
Thanks.
This is the thing, Boston Rob was way before my time. I think he has tons of fans just like Russell has tons of fans. I think RI Boston Rob was a great player for the show. Tons of fans were satisfied with that season because their favorite survivor ever finally after 9 Years (?) took down the title.
Russell though I think was also great for the show. It is very rare you find someone iconic in survivor history in the 24th season of the show. That was really an amazing find.
I can just name who I think was the best for TV in each season I was a part of. Ill name the guy and the girl!
Samoa: Russell, and Laura.
HVV: Russell, Sandra (Honorable mention to Parvati)
Nicaragua: Jud, Holly
RI: Boston Rob, Andrea. Honorable mention to Mike Chiesl who would have thrived in any other season!

Never going to happen!

Hell, the F4 challenge in SP was INTENSE, and the final IC SHOULD have that kind of intensity, and you don't see it going into these F3 matchups.
We wan't drama at the end of every season. We do want to people battling for F4 immunity hard. What we don't want though is once someone loses the F3 to be a foregone conclusion.
I think Samoa, South Pacific is an example of the kind of atmosphere we want at the F4 challenge. And Nicaragua being the atmosphere because no one knew what Jud was going to do!
I think the most exciting ending was probably Nicaragua. Since at the F4 Challenge everyone was trying to beat Jud and no one knew who he would bring to the F4. Also the audience not being able to really predict the winner off that F3 was definitely good. We want a carbon copy of that ending but with better charachters.
